Buff This Card! / Re: Spark | Ball Lightning
« on: March 22, 2011, 11:37:24 pm »
I'll add in card images soon.

I'm not saying this card is VERY underpowered... I'm just comparing it to gnome rider, damselfly and photon.

Clearly, spark is not a problem.... since it has a very nice damage/cost ratio. However, of the upgraded... ball lightning is the worst -- in 3 turns, damselfly OUTdamages ball lightning AND gives 3  :air. Also, although it is really easy to kill... the opponent has to waste CC on the creature. Maybe the problem isn't ball lightning, but rather the other cards... but I would say something is unbalanced here.

BTW, in a cremation deck, use gnome gemfinders... because of the whole lava golem thing....

I'm surprised nobody has noticed this before, but this is clearly the weakest of all the free creatures. It gives you no quanta, as do all the others, and it dies on the first turn. I have two basic solutions: have it give you some amount of quanta... maybe around 2 or 3, or have it have a higher attack.

Sorry... I couldn't figure out how to make it bigger :(

Issue Archive / Undead-like status on a rewinded creature
« on: February 26, 2011, 09:17:57 pm »
I was playing against Destiny in the trainer, and at one point, Destiny rewound a Fallen Druid several times. The first couple times, everything went normally... however, on maybe the 3rd rewind, the Fallen Druid turned into a Sky Dragon on rewind... obs a bug. If you also experienced this, please confirm.

I believe that  :aether has two major types of spells: quint and some sort of copying mechanism. (A third, minor one, is lobotomy... I won't include that into this discussion.)

If we compare:
CardQuint-typeCopy-type
Quintessence :aether
Fractal :aether
Parallel Universe :aether
Mindgate :aether
Phase Shield :aether
Copying stuff wins 3-2 over quintessence... I think the nymph's ability should be either PU or Mindgate...

Obviously, this deck needs help... but I think it holds promise... there are just so many synergies here.

Maybe throw in some hourglasses or precogs... idk... feel free to criticize.

? ? ? = Vanadium Warder

The idea is to get high attack warden... and shut down your opponents creatures.

I made this in about 3 minutes... so its very, very rough.

Enjoy.

Feel free to post a better version... a couple ideas i have is to include non-upped rage elixirs as well as fire nymph... also cutting the deck down to 30 might help... or you could include fire eaters and gnome gemfinders.

EDIT: I forgot to include the deck...  :P
