I was hoping for some random speed rainbow. At least something creative. Who hasn't heard of the Shrieker Rush deck. The Antlions are kind of original I guess. Poison rush, neh, heard of it. Saw a speed rainbow, got excited, saw that it wasn't speedy, sadified.

Here is a link to my old Top50 deck which was a speed rainbow. It works good. Just doesn't have the win-rate or speed of the antlion/graboid deck.

Thanks for the backup Icy.

I am always up for finding Top50 decks with better win rates than mine. A fully upped standard Shreiker deck though is not one of them. A good chunk of the Top50 use bonewall and having lots of lil guys works far better than a few big hitters. Plus like Icy said, Ant Lions are hella quanta efficient and have the same survival ability as the big guys.

I have done a lot of testing vs. Top50. All my testing was done after Wed so the Top50 wasn't full of new decks.

Played 180 games. 148 Wins, 32 Losses. 83% win rate. Games typically last 1-2 minutes unless the opponent drags it out with dim shields.

Note: The Earth Mark card is basically just another upped earth tower.

I upgraded my Mark Of Earth  card without realizing that would destroy it's ability to meld with my mark.

Is there anyway this could be downgraded (looking at you Zanz )

It would make me very happy in the ol' pantaloons.

Ortaghs?Btw,Dont you think lightningbolt would be a better choice than Drain life?

Lightning bolt shares quantoms with Quint and Twin Uni. It might be slightly more efficient offensively. But drain life can be used both defensively and offensively since it can heal me as well.

I might trade it for another mirror shield to guarantee I get one out early. Not 100% on that card yet.

Let me preface this by saying I have used Scaredgirl's Top50 deck and it does work fine. But its usefulness has gone down recently due to the fact that most Top50 decks have sped up their decks and acquired new cards (Quintessence mainly).

Below is a Deck I have been working on that is kicking some serious booty. It is a Variation of CB! AI5 Speed rainbow deck.

STATS from this weekend: 112 wins/28 losses = 75% effective. Some elemental masteries thrown in but this isn't really meant as a money making deck.

First thing you might notice is....OMG no Otyugh's !!!

Pretty much every Top50 deck these days consists of Ortaghs, Fallen Druids, and multiple Quintessence. My deck basically ignores the Otyughs since they won't be able to get out in time before I have at least 2 of my growth critters higher than 5 hp. And in the off chance they do get one out early, I have the Heavy Armor or Quintessence to keep me from getting munched on.

Second important change is the shields.

Bone wall doesn't work since there is no Otyugh.

Mirror Shield only costs 2 Light and cannot be stolen by default. It also prevents anyone from attacking your health directly which is very nice vs. some Top50 decks.

The primary weakness of this deck comes from facing someone even faster than you. A fully upgraded Shrieker/Graboid mono deck is still a tough win. But those are few and far between in the Top 50 since most players prefer a Mini-Rainbow.

NOTE: It sucks when I get my ass beat by my own deck.
