Wrong, events should be fun for everyone, not just players. Spectators have every right to have fun too you know.

Why would someone pay to see a Lakers game? Might as well use that money to buy ice cream or ride a roller coaster, no? Come on now, part of this whole events thingy is entertainment value for the whole community.
We want to help the community enrich their EtG experience by urging them to participate but you cant have participation if you dont have something that will pique their interest.

similarly,

i wouldnt advise using vulture+bonewall+thunderstorm vs any other FGs

when you know EP is coming, by all mean, please use vulture+bonewall+thunderstorm

just because you're currently representing the element Aether doesnt mean you have to be gung-ho about a statement i made 3 months ago? come on now

also, mono aether used to be the premier anti-FG deck in the early days when there was only a handful of them (i wasnt around back then but i read a lot that mention them) so mono aether USED to be good but with a lot of newer FGs having PC, their winrate drop
not to say they're bad but why  would you use a deck with 30%~35% winrate when you can use something that has 50%+ or in case of specific anti-FG like vulture+bonewall+thunderstorm with higher winrate

also, next time, please quote everything that are related and in this case my whole post on the matter to see the big picture

your tricked up mono aether is a fine example of the power of mono aether vs false gods with no PCs
i wouldnt advise using mono aether vs any other FGs (although there are some variation, some of those can be found in other anti-FG decks) but paradox is truly a cakewalk with this deck

Unless stated otherwise (for example specific ruling of that particular event), winners and losers must provide their decklist in the battle result thread/post. A short matchup review / play-by-play is recommended but not necessary.

the only reason I brought this up is because the previous draft definitely killed my interest, not only because of all the quitters/deserters but also because we, the spectators didn't get to see what each team uses with the cards they drafted

This seems very good. Anyway, as the first Draft demonstrated, you should add a policy for substitutions. There were problems for people who dropped the event midways... You may want to add penalties or something to keep people focused. Just like in War.

a revamped warning system is being discussed and might go live very, very soon

lol @ fractal vs mindgate debate

we had this back in pages 1-20 and this is probably the 8th or 9th recurrence of that debate
the thing is, just do some testing yourself and stick with what you think is best

btw...

The combo of this deck is 1 FFQ + 2 Lava Destroyers + 1 Fractal, and I don't think anything else would work better.

Fractal- Versatile, but pretty much useless if FFQ is taken out.

fractal doesnt need FFQ to work
by the time you want to fractal, you should have enough quanta of any sort to fractal your target and remember, lava destroyer isnt the only viable target
