Post Your PvP Event Ideas Here / Re: Team PVP version 3.1235425135
« on: January 25, 2011, 03:57:03 am »
seeing how popular it has been in the past, team PvP is already on the 'Ongoing and Upcoming PvP Events' list
in fact, it will be starting very soon but we'll be using 3-man per team as before

Paradox / Re: Oracle : Paradox
« on: January 24, 2011, 11:52:11 am »
Oh LUL, he didn't summon any RoL until the end xD He took 7 turns to kill me

The deck used:
Code: [Select]
5if 5if 5if 5if 5la 5la 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61u 622 622 622 80e 80e 80i 80i 80i
-3 Lightning +2 Electrocutor, a Fractal
electrocuter is kinda redundant with 4 mind flayers
the reason i include mind flayers instead is to make it rare-less
lightning is there for buffed dejavus that hasnt been activated (paradox usually keep them for another blessing target) but if you got money to burn, this is a much more awesomer decklist :-

Code: [Select]
5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 7jq 7jq 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80e 80e 80e 80i 80i 80i 80i 80i
also, a different approach (untested but it should work just as well as long as you dont get super-rushed) :-

Code: [Select]
6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dl 7dl 7dl 7dn 7dn 7do 7do 7n2 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 save animate weap until you're going for the 1HKO

CANCELLED

withdrawing from participation
apologize for any inconvinience

198
try fractal firefly with hope
it will be harder to pull off than RoL-hope but with the same result

or some luciferin-vanilla deck
vanilla refer to creature with no active ability (blank creature like horned frog, abomination, skeleton etc)

Draft - Battle Results / Re: The Draft, Rules
« on: January 16, 2011, 05:54:31 am »
SIGNING UP FOR THE DRAFT
You must have a forum accound and a chat account before you sign up.
You may sign up as either a Captain or a Player.
    Signups are coming soon.
Captains
    One captain per team.
    Responsible for drafting their teams.
Once teams are drafted captains become players.
Required to have a good knowledge of the playerbase.
    Will be chosen by plastiqe.
from the wording, i think theres a slight confusion about how a captain is chosen
either one can sign up as a captain OR you, the host will pick one from the available pool of players
the way i see it is that either one can sign up as a captain or everyone sign up and you randomly assign someone(s) as captain(s)
i prefer the latter

the idea is to illuminate game by game replay by showing what was your deck choice for each game
arguably one can always use the same 30 cards deck for all 5 matches but...let just say its more for the audience

best example would be this battle result (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17351.0.html) which encompass everything that we (SG and I) hope to see
not that we force people to use this approach but personally, as a community member, that is the most interesting result i've seen because it shows everything that you ask (as an outsider) between 2 competing participants

at the very least, just showing your decklist means we, as the community wont have to hunt for your decklist ourselves (yeah, we're pretty lazy and wants everything fed to us...that is just how it is)

by the way, i'm pretty sure your second game was with your immo-thingy deck because i recall getting wiped by RoF (but not against my fractal-pest.dec)
