i really hate facing upped mono Life in T50 with my speed rainbow variant
my deck has a good probability to win vs anything except mono Life (especially one using Heals for EM)
until i started using Wings, then its a cakewalk

you just dont get the point and frankly i dont think theres a way to get to you so i'm not gonna bother anymore
just dont go around saying people dont know what they're doing based on your way of playing the deck because this is the general consensus

Nah I generally play on at least fairly low hp creatures. The best to use it on imo are ones with low hp and a useful ability, like Physalia, or octopus, or RoL (against paradox), or fallen druid. It depends on the FG, but yeah. The faster you get aflatoxin out, the better imo, regardless of shield status :P. Its possible to keep many gods to only 3-4 creatures if you get it out in first couple turns, which is huge because as long as you can heal through the damage until you get a shield, you basically win :P.
to illustrate a point :-

just imagine what some of these FGs can do if i wait around for my shield to show up before playing alfatoxin

its hard to gauge when it will alpha strike because we dont know the underlying coding behind this pattern
i guess you've been lucky with the timing to use the trick
i did it a couple of times and every time Gemini will bombarded me with TU'd, Momentumed and TU'd (some more) action and i see my life drops from green to zero

its not fun going from green to zero

One thing that has helped me some against both paradox and gemini is to play an unprotected 7/1 golem if they start to get dangerous creatures on their side (10 att+ for paradox or momentum'd anything for gemini). They often will spam all their TU's on your 7/1 destroyer instead of their own because if its ability, even though they cant use it.
i have to disagree with you here Nume
i find that leaving an unquinted, ungrowthed golem is about as good as fractalling firemasters vs Graviton (meaning not good at all)
Gemini has a pattern that it follows
to put simply,
- it will put out a few momentum the first couple of turns
- it will put up phase shield chain pending threats on your side (high atk critter or >2 critters)
- it will momentumed and TU'd dragon/recluse if either one of you is below certain HP limit or when it has reached a number of Unstoppables/TUs in its hand (i'm not sure about the math but you will notice similar pattern with Elidnis and Paradox)

putting up an unprotected golem will break this pattern and WILL attract TU from his side
so instead of being safe for another couple of turns (because the last part of the pattern is when they move in to alpha strike you), you will suddenly face half a dozen momentumed 8/2 golems out of nowhere if you try this trick so my advice is, dont try it

I am taking a different approach with my alt account. I am not selling cards I win from the false gods unless I already have six of them upped.
thats what i've been doing
and so far i have most of :aether, :darkness, :time, :air 6's due to the number of FGs that uses that element
i dont remember how many excess Fractal, Twin Universe and Hourglasses i've sold using this principle

NEVER play aflatoxin without a shield how could you not know that?
do not EVER use that tone with me again mister
i didnt ridicule you earlier about your 90% winning using this deck because i knew you're basing it on your own experience (how lucky of you) whereas everyone else is stating average winning rate that resulted from rigorous testing (100+ matches) done by many people so do not use condescending tone as if i do not know what i'm doing

Well I don't know how your deck is built but I always have a shield before a aflatoxin and I get them both early so I don't have a major problem here but besides pharaohs (which I rarely see) name another situation where you should use aflatoxin before a shield?  If you say RoL/Hope I will yell liar because I know for a fact that it is a stupid move
again, you're basing it on your own experience....but you cant expect every play to be the same as yours
you cant expect every situation turns up ideal, i.e. having shield before aflatoxin, having enough SNs to play everything by turn 2....it just doesnt work like that

If you say RoL/Hope I will yell liar because I know for a fact that it is a stupid move
that IS stupid because what False God uses RoL/Hope?
this is a discussion about CC? Why Bother vs FGs right?

Thats not necessarily true. Against a god like FG or Ferox, who have the potential to spam many creatures, an aflatoxin can help even before your shield because it stops them from creating as many creatures.
^what he said

you've been giving a lot of pointers TheOwner, some of them really great but some of them is really ridiculous
aflatoxin IS a gamble. thats the way it is
if you play it safe i.e. if you wait for a shield to play aflatoxin, might as well dont even bother with it because theres no assurance that you can play it before the pressure (creatures on FG side) gets out of control
so then you might take out a single creature but wasted its potential to do the best thing it does, limiting the threats on FG side
sometimes the gamble backfired, sure, but giving +1, +2, +4 damage to the FG is better than letting them fill it with higher attack
and like i said, not getting permafrost is the real issue here so what difference does it make if i let them keep that pharaoh to spawn more scarabs or replace it with a cells that double itself each turn?

My luck can be pretty wacky at time. You want to hear another stat? Out of the 9 times i've beaten Rainbow (yes i've only beat Rainbow 9 times lifetime) i've won 8 cards. So go figure on the low probability on winning cards against him.
not that strange tbh
actually, even though i keep saying how winning vs Rainbow is not that good, out of the handful of times i beat her with rainbow control, i actually won 2 graboids (the other 3 from Seism i guess)
but even with that lucky winnings i still stand by what i've said, Rainbow is too much of a hassle to deal with
just skip her unless you want a challenge

Guardian Angel? Hope? seriously?

Miracle is the cornerstone of :light
i mean come on, if you face anything playing light pillars, the first thing that comes to mind is "oh heck, now i'm gonna have to alpha strike him or start from the beginning again. great, just great"

who says anything about winning?

heh actually i figured you're just stalling for deckout...which means PA'd eternity is game over to this deck
lets face it, the original decklist doesnt have much in term of winning anyway (an army of RoLs wont get you far) so some TUs might be nice but arent you sick of so many TU abusing FGs already? and TU cost 6 :aether meaning either step up on SNs or put some aether towers in there
hence the pandemonium...

just imagine if the FG TU'd your antimattered creatures...oh what fun to be had  :-X
