A couple of thoughts...

1.  The enter deck code cell on the first page seems to be protected?  I couldn't enter mine (fairly unimportant)
2.  (We've already discussed this)  It would be great to get uber accurate win results for HP/dependant non-EM wins.  Also an electrum tracker would be great!

To show the simplicity... this post took me less than 60 seconds to show great stats!

Rainbow Decks / Re: TADAbow - AI3 Domination, Rainbow style

I'm pretty sure that I got really lucky in the testing.
Seems pretty consistent with what I got, considering I did all of my testing on high quality for this and the efficiency study.  I am currently in the long process of redo-ing the study on low quality for better comparison with others numbers.

Yours was slightly better win % and EM % with a slightly slower TTW so it would probably come out about the same as my numbers for efficiency on high quality.

I keep getting jumped by thugs in the alley and dying.  Is there a dedicated forum section for this browser game?

Metamorphosis - Battle Results / Re: Round 1 - Battle Results
« on: April 20, 2011, 07:33:27 am »
Finally snapped out of my Metamorphosis induced depression enough to post some info.  10 hours of planning resulting in a loss will do that to you.  Root's deck was amazingly well thought out, and I saw counters to almost every route I had considered morphing to.  That being said, this was the most depressing loss I've taken yet in my short Elements career, due to the time I spent constructing my decks, and how close I was to winning (within a coin toss twice).  Really well deserved win by Root and he is a pleasure to play against.

Decks I used in my loss to RootRanger:

4vf 4vf 4vf 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52o 52o 52o 52o 590 590 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 8pj

Won - Decent start for Root with 2 turn 2 phoenixes, although he had to cremate a warden instead of a gemfinder to do so.  Had him outdecked pretty well in this first matchup.

Changes:
Purple Dragons ---> Discords
Poison ---> Deflags

Won - The decrease in pressure from my deck didn't get a chance to show up here as a turn 1 discord and horrible draw prevented him from getting going.

Changes:
Grabbies ---> Lava Golems
Nova ----> Fire Pillars

Lost x3 - Very close games with the exception of one.  In the end, the exposure of my golems as opposed to the ability to hide graboids from his wardens was the difference.  Had to make some compromises to the effectiveness of my deck in order to set up the next round and my poor deck morphing caught up to me in the end.

Side note:  Never saw a fog shield come out that I can remember.

^This, and sorry about what happened there kirch, we blundered on you. :(

On that note, I didn't check this thread until later, but were our mono attempts really ineffective?
I tested several deck possibilities against the 7 1st round :air decks and the mono light beatdown performed the worst, going 16-19 against their decks, while others I tested had around 10 losses.  That being said, although I was least confident in this deck upon testing, it actually may have given us the best chance for victory in this match.  They threw so many dragons at us that match, that a more offensive approach probably was the best idea.  AM may have helped, but I suspect in order to have a proper defensive counter, dim shields may have been a good choice, but are unavailable to us.  In the future, if we suspect dragons, I would suggest we either rush, or go discords + AM given our deck choices.

kirchj33==Sorry about your matchup.  I agree the deck was not fully thought out and I doubt had much testing.  Anyway, the next time we face :air (if we live that long) let's bring Discord to slow them down and Antimatter for those dragons.
Again, sorry for the rant.  I just needed to get it out on our private forums.  It seems alot of teams prefer dragons as a way to break through our sancts and exploit our lack of CC.  This is one pattern that is becoming clear early on.  Lessons learned!
