Grid / Re: Grid - Round 2

Can we strike the rule that people can change picks?  I'm just afraid people will start copy pasta'ing other's decks as the battle results are posted.  I still feel there should be a short deckbuilding phase with a deadline for deck submissions.  I keep seeing people contacting others (including myself) stating they need an extra day or so to build decks, which is cutting it close since battle phases are only 3 days.

It would be nice to see in a post exactly what the updated changes are at this point.  With that much text it all kinda mushes together when I'm trying to pick out the new stuff.

I think Chromatophore makes a very relevant point.  Nobody wants to repeatedly play the same person in T50 and there are other options for viewing highscores.  It also takes away places from players near the bottom 50 who are trying to earn the satisfaction of seeing their scores posted.
It is not about posting your score repeatedly it's about giving everyone the same chance but doing so through another process. Quick question do you even play elements on kongregate if not you wouldn't understand and your replys would be useless because it seems to me both of you, yourself and Chromatophore are on different pages.
I used to as well.  I found it much more convenient to play on the EtG website with chat open overlapping.

I was just trying to make a relevant reference concerning this issue.  Not trying to troll your topic so please get back on yourself.

Deck used all 3 matches:

1st game:
majofa drew 1 pillar.... gg.

2nd game:
fairly close but a cointoss wins it for me.

3rd game:
I lose cointoss but early eternity vs. no eternity wins damage race.

This match was a win/win for me as majofa was a deserving champion considering he was team leader and drafted our cards.  Good (boring) games maj.  I'm grateful to have my first forum icon.

On a side note.... why do people submit to T50 multiple times?  Rude!  :))

TheForbiddenOracle - 1

Game 1 - WIN
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 50u 50u 50u 50u 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v
Figured I was about as close to counterdecked as possible, but bholes kept his grabbies from showing up and he got a slow start.  I had a great quanta draw that helped me play several dragons.

Edit: I thought I was hard countered at first, but the dependancy on the quanta buildup to grabbies meant he either had to expose quanta for me to bhole/heal from or keep it hidden enough to delay his rush.

Game 2 - LOSS
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 50u 50u 50u 50u 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v
Tried this and it seemed ok but got outrushed even with a pandy TUing my own dragon.  Hax shield kept most of my late game damage at bay.  Considered adding more pandies, but chalked it up to bad luck.

Games 3 & 4 - WIN
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vl 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 50u 50u 50u 50u 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v
I took a well-calculated risk that he wouldn't be able to run anything else with his cards he selected, so I tried to fine-tune my deck on the fly.  I added back in a discord because the damage/quanta ratio is better than dragons.  I ultimately decided to stay all dragons for damage over chargers because I figured they would work better with pandies.  Fog shield was probably my biggest enemy in his deck now.  Luckily, I never saw it again.

I drew an opening hand discord both matches and pandy PU's helped me get early damage going.

Game 3 1st pandy rewound an evolved grabby and a phoenix.  This was enough stall for the win.

Game 4 I drew amythest pillar, 2 pendies, pandy, discord, bhole, dragon so... pretty much a perfect draw.  Enabled turn 2 discord, thus preventing early grabbies.  Turn 3 bhole & pandy.  I copied his already played phoenix and photon.  Next pandy gpulled his phoenix.  This gave me enough stall for an easy victory, even if a dragon didn't show up until turn 7.

gg's TFO, was a very interesting matchup!

I am sure that I have the most entertaining round 1 cards/targets:

PICKS:
A6 – Black Hole
B7 – Discord
E4 – Sapphire Charger
I2 – Antimatter
G10 – Purple Dragon
K12 – Pandemonium
D8 – Hematite Golem
F1 – Momentum
C11 – Holy Light
H3 – Plate Armor
J9 – Flooding
L5 - Chrysoaroa

TARGETS:
C11 – Holy Light
H3 – Plate Armor
J9 – Flooding

Morte / Re: Oracle : Morte

This morning Oracle said Morte and I used this CCYB variant:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 71c 74a 74a 77f 7dq 7dq 7gp 7gp 7gq 7gq 7gq 7jp 7ng 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q8 80h 80h 80h 8pj

This works well, but I would suggest -1 Afla, -1 Eternity, -1 RoL, +1 AM.  This helps thin it out some.

Looks like we might need a short extension.  Shouldn't be a big deal since theres only two of us I hope.  We had the chat debacle where I couldn't figure out how to get in chat for 24 hours.  I haven't seen majofa for the past 2 days except he popped in and out quickly to play the Eastern.
