Great deck.  Stamp of approval.  I wouldn't change a thing, particularly adding a weapon.  Those seem to be the main steal targets.  Won two upped cards from gold in an hour with it.

I think I should be +10 relics this round instead of +9 unless I'm mistaken.  I wouldn't care except SteppingStone is breathing down my neck.

Seraph - 1

Went with immowardenphoenixes because I figured it was the best counter to devtal, fractix & other immophoenix available.  Nobody is playing what I'm predicting anyways, but somehow I keep winning.

1st game - WIN
Code: [Select]
58t 58t 596 596 596 596 596 596 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi
Yes.  I won a game because of plate armor.  +karma to self.

2nd game - WIN
Code: [Select]
58t 58t 596 596 596 596 596 596 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi
Starting to try and counter his deck a little more.

3rd game - LOSS
Code: [Select]
596 596 596 596 596 596 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc
Came up with the idea to switch marks to try and power deflags.  It was either a bad idea or a bad draw because I ran out of earth quanta to stop his birds even though I shutdown his UG spam.

4th game - WIN
Code: [Select]
596 596 596 596 596 596 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi
Back to normal.  He switched decks but it was too quanta intensive to shutdown a good draw/rush this time.

Phoenix – B9
Immolation – E7
Deflagration – G2
Rage Potion – L11
Iridium Warden – J6 - Target
Cloak – H10 - Target
Relic x3 – F1
Relic x2 – I12
Relic x2 – C4
Relic – A8
Relic x2 – K3
Plate Armor – D5 - Target

No ups, no dispersals.

The Arena / Platinum League Arena Farming Deck Discussion
« on: June 27, 2011, 04:28:32 pm »
I was directed to post here for now....

So last night during skeleton-mania I tried a few things, but eventually settled on this modded CCYB:

6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 77f 77f 77i 77i 7ai 7dq 7dq 7gp 7gp 7gq 7k6 7k6 7ng 7q5 7q5 7q5 80h 80h 8pj

I would have done 2 air nymphs if I had them, but it still works well enough today.  I ran fractal for awhile as well because juicy platinum league EMs are just too good to pass up, but wanted to keep it tighter in the end.

Today I have been using this, mostly to try and dethrone QT, but it works well enough in the massacre that is PC & rush mania.

I just wanted to get people's thoughts because its awefully rough out there in platinum league, and any info sharing helps at this point.

People don't care so much about score/h when playing vs FGs. They can farm AI3 with much better results for score. FGei is the most important stat and when you play 6min games that decreases rapidly, because you don't spin that often. I didn't want to offend you, but as you said you tried the deck going for max score/h while here they study each deck's FGei. That's the reason I would suggest someone tests GotP while playing faster games (and >200) so we can see what it's real value is. I allways thought it's one of the best FG grinding decks cause even if it's huge (50+ cards) it can draw like crazy and fractal asap vs some gods. I'm sure it can be in the top 3 with a winrate of 65%+ and EM's if someone would play it fast. My games are usually around 3mins - max 4. I hope 10men or noobiecakes could try it, since they made the deck and are more familiar with it (or maybe someone else who is familiar with the deck and has 3-4min games mostly).
I am sorry if I sound harsh, but I think trying to get max score burries this deck's FGei.
I can assure you that I have spoken with Found in the past and he/she is VERY experienced with the deck.  I am also very comfortable with the stats produced so far.  I took 100 games earlier as a sample for the deck, and had similar results, not only for FGei, but for min/game and score/hr as well.  I will do my best to get mine posted and merged within the next couple of weeks. 10 men/Noobie took extensive stats as posted on the deck site, but just not in terms of score/hr, FGei, or min/game.

I think another useful thing we could do with this that wouldn't require much more work would be to find what the efficiency index would be if we included autoskips.
Yeah, that's definitely on the agenda after we get more data.  Hopefully, 500 games is a realistic goal for removing those skips.
I mean we create a list of autoskips for each deck, and see how much money you would make if you skipped them everytime they came up instead of playing them.
Yeah, so I think we're on the same page, but I'll try and catch you in chat later tonight just in case we're not.

Basically, what Jangoo and I were discussing is:

1.  Find some arbitrary god-by-god FGei number to eliminate data for each deck, say... for the sake of discussion 1000 FGei or less.
2.  Remove this data and treat it as an autoloss instead, with some number representing the time it takes to identify the god and quit while playing (5 or 6 seconds?)
3.  Recalculate the deck's overall FGei with "skips", possibly renaming this value as FGei(s)
4.  For each deck, post suggested skips based on data (500 games would be ideal for the reason that perhaps someone has had poor luck with too few data)
