Deck Help / Re: nameless mitoscarab

Get rid of  :time mark, put  :gravitymark, then put more  :time pendulums and reduce them  :life pendulums
that would complicate things a bit. best to simply increase the amount of :gravity pendulums and reduce the life ones. maybe you could replace some pends with pillars to form some more solid life production as well.

quanta index was a study carried out by scaredgirl. it was an experiment where she tried to find out the best amount of pillars/pendulums for the perfect quanta distribution. here's a link: http://elementswiki.co.cc/articles/empirical-evidence-to-support-qi/ (http://elementswiki.co.cc/articles/empirical-evidence-to-support-qi/). this is usually a vital tool for good deck builders, although as jmtd stated it is not always the best guideline concerning some decks.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

welcome to the forums, MarkiMora!

it's probably not possible to recover your old account. if you can't remember the password then no one can help you sadly, and accounts can't ever be totally erased unless for some drastic reasons.

why are you all suggesting fully upped pro decks when this guy says he's nowhere near ready for upping any cards at all?

anyway if he's to grind AI3s he needs a fast deck or one that relies on EMs. there are lots about and unupgraded rushes are't hard to make. darkfrogger's noob decks are quite helpful and there is 1 in all the mono deck sections.

MAJOR EDIT: very honourable of you all for suggesting such innately helpful and constructive advice on decks.

(not meaning to unadvertise this obviously highly successful deck but i used it for a short while. the reason it was a short while was because i found it to yeid a 0% success rate. i don't know how, it just didn't work for me. go ahead and use it though as it is very successful)

this whole game is a community game. that's all that really needs to be said. zanz maybe the heart of the game but he obviously created the forums to expand his game. it's like saying an army is only an army because it's got a general, or a nation is only a nation because it has a monarch. zanz is what makes everything possible and he puts a lot into the game but inevitably the community will catch up because there are so many of us and we are so committed. one canoe can't outrun the cruise liner as much as one designer/programmer can't out-think the huge collective he's created. he uses this forum to give him new inspiration. i guarantee that at least 80% of his "75% of new cards" were inspired from somewhere or some post on the forums, and undeniably most of his decisions were out of requests on the suggestions and feedback section.

btw i think 0.04 is a huge under exaggeration. i am in no way implying that zanz is the least bit unimportant, in fact as an individual he far surpasses anyone in his role and is indeed the heart of the game but, eventually, with such a huge thinking force, the community will overtake idea wise, not importance.

Forum Bugs, Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Forums themes
« on: April 06, 2011, 03:33:55 pm »
What about a theme for each element ?

Like  :aether :air :darkness :death :earth :entropy :fire :gravity :life :light :time :water :underworld :rainbow themes. Fans of each element would love that.
peeesh! sounds like a lot of work. i think sticking with a couple of themes is good for the moment. maybe elemental themes could be a long term project that could be undertaken by multiple people. eventually that would be nice but now it seems unavailable.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: AI and Liquid Shadow

hey i've noticed that. i'm not complaining as it helps you win against the AI more often. it does seem rather silly though and should be fixed.

Well we obviously know that the game came before the community, but the way I see it, the community is more of a catalyst for the game, if anything. We bicker about the game, what could make it better, what's making it worse, and other stuff, and then zanz just lurks around and soaks up all the ideas like a sponge does with water. He looks at them and says, "ZOMGWTFBBQ THIS IS AN AWEZOME IDEA LOL," "meh," or just "No."

:)
well said...

anyway i suppose zanz does kinda do that. he still has less than 200 posts which shows he doesn't do that much interfering with all the continuous brainstorming we do. in effect we are all the creators. zanz just puts it into action. i mean, you have to have the people who come up with the ideas and then the one with the know-how to do it all. i guess SGs job is to bring out the best in us.
Please tell me you're joking.
no not at all. we come up with many many card ideas, we test different strategies, we record data to build on, we suggest changes in the meta game and cards, we discuss what should be next implemented into the game, some of our members even design the art used in the actual game, we give him loads of feedback on how to improve the game and make it more enjoyable, etc... the list is practically endless. sure zanz started the whole thing off but you can't make a really successful game like this all on your own. without the collective we make, this game would be still at ground level. of course zanz is the only one who can put the stuff into the game and fine tune it. he is the chief editor if you like.
