I think its best to limit the effect to 1 per creature so you cant use it multiple time on a pump up creature. Blessing and rage potions adds up fast.

I don't think you get it. It's just weird for shields to have ACTIVATED ability. But than again, with a nice picture, it might get good.
Okay. I don't understand your reasoning, you think its okay if a weapon have a activated offensive ability but shields shouldn't have a defensive activated ability just because its a shield?

Epinepherine cost 2 :life so couldn't you just pick life as mark and change it to 4 Epinepherine or is that to slow? Get a few more Gravity towers and perhaps 2-3 Gravity Force.

What about  :entropy Gamble: Target creature gain -2, -1, 0, +1 or +2 hit points. That's a more defensive oriented approach.

Yes
This gives the card a problem. Cards can have only one active ability so when used on another creature its current ability would be lost.

My suggested course of action would be to have the ability dive the target doubling its current fixed attack. For a cost of 3 should be about right cause you would use it your best creatures.
Do you mean that the target creature doubles its attack strength for 1 turn?

How do you tell that the creature is flying, since to my knowledge there is no such feature in the game.
Good point. Since dive is used only by flying creatures (if not mutated) I thought it should be so here also. It might not be possible to do it easily coding wise thought. Its not a big problem, the ability could be chanced to something else. The thing I'm after is buffing effect that quanta wise synergies with the fireflies, but still can be useful for light or fire without using fireflies.

I like the random damage reduction, but to get D5-3 for 2 quanta seams a bit to expensive.

If we use the D4-1 and D6-1 as a passive effect, its places the card solidly in the shield category. I wonder if it would be possible to code it so the opponent could see the new damage reduction value each turn.  What about a variation on the -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 theme. Active ability Gamble (no cost): Target creature permanently gain -2, -1, 0, +1 or +2 attack strength.
