More bump.

Extra mods would be much appreciated right now. And it's not like we have a limited choice. I could list 4 or 5 people that'd make good mods.

piece of junk
about 80% win rate
wut?
80% is good, no?

I´d prefer pulv but not over steal. eternity is nice but at 40 cards There is not much need for it.
I mostly agree with you, but it's saved me in a couple games against Miracle and Rainbow. Of course, I don't have Pulverizer, which I'm sure would help. Eternity is still a pretty useful weapon outside of not decking out though.

That's pretty sweet. I'd never thought of using plague. I'd probably run Pulverizer over a Steal though. Unlimited permanent destruction is really good against most of the gods. Gemini (Phase Shields) and Rainbow (Hourglasses) come to mind. Being able to take out annoying weapons on demand is also nice, as is the ability to destroy shields you don't want to steal (to keep your Bone Wall).

Earth / AI3 GRINDING: LUDICROUS SPEED deck
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:53 pm »

Drop the antlion and add the gnome imo
Gnomes aren't as good as towers. You end up with 2 less quanta overall (since towers give 1 and gnomes cost 1), and they only deal 1 damage. The only reason brimstones are used in monofire is because they do twice the damage and can be cremated.

Sweet deck, btw. Currently doing a bit of testing to get a legit comparison to monofire.

Fire / Mono Fire Speed Deck for grinding AI3
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:53 pm »

I'm pretty sure that would get better results than mono fire. Neither of them can win in 4 turns but I think earth deck might have a better chance of winning in 5.
I kept track of turns taken to win to compare my monofire ( with 2 fahrenheits) with monoearth (5 shriekers and 2 long swords, though I'm not sure about the swords). I've only done 25 games with each, but so far fire wins in 6.28 turns on average and earth in 5.74 on average. Fire won only 2 games in 5 turns, and earth was about half and half between 5 and 6, which would point to earth being a bit better.

However, if you consider actual time spent instead of turns, clicking evolve on each graboid will take time that otherwise wouldn't be taken. Not sure how much extra time that would come out to, but I guess it could add up.

Also, going second has the distinct advantage of 1 extra draw, and all but one of the 5 turn wins were games I went second, so the data could be off if I just got more second turn games using earth.

Even with those questions, I still feel earth is a bit better, but maybe it's just because I find it more fun. :P

Most useful was prolly a devour armagio. Eating Miracle's 5x blessed dragon was fun.

Silliest would be one of those 0/x dive/momentum whatevers or a x/1 with devour. Immortal graboids are kinda stupid too.

Trio & Quartet / Fireball deck
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:51 pm »

this is not a mono-deck, is a trio deck XD
without sundials and miracle could be good, and with some ash aeter, crismon dragon, fire bucker and fahrenheit
This is not supposed to be a copy of Chival's monofire. The point is to win by fire bolting the opponent for 100+ damage. I made a similar deck awhile ago which used dimshields instead of dials. It's actually not hard to beat a slow t50 rainbow with this type of deck, as pointed out by the OP, and, as also pointed out by the OP, it can occasionally beat a god.

I'm guessing still broken dials in the trainer means you can't really test it there. Too bad, as it would be leagues better with upped dials/light mark.

Duo-Decks / Death/Fire
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:51 pm »

I mean, what kind of combos do you have with fire and death? lol
Bone-/Graveyard + Rain of Fire + Bonewall

^^^ That one is pretty fun.
It's not only fun, but against ffq or another bone or graveyard it's practically a guaranteed win. Breaking a 40+ bonewall is stupidly hard after being firestormed - especially when you're running rainbow and you've got an oty or two to continue fueling it and prevent attacks against it.

Upgrades can be made to your cards at the cost of 1500 coins per card once you've beaten the 500 score quest.

Purify is currently the only way to remove poison, and it costs 1 water quanta to cast. I suppose if you're using quantum pillars it might work, but you can probably find better ways to deal with poison. As Delreich said, Pulverizer is your best option, but it is a rare so you either have to win it or choose it as your prize in the 500 score quest.

Duo-Decks / CLASH OF THE TITANS!
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:50 pm »

It's still a pretty cool concept though, since you can basically quintuple your HP. And even if it's not the best deck, it's always nice to have some fun decks to just screw around with.

Duo-Decks / CLASH OF THE TITANS!
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:49 pm »

Ever since I read on the wiki that animated titans get 70 HP, I've wanted to try a deck like this, but I've never gotten around to it. I also thought about making it a dual-element deck with light for access to miracle to essentially give myself way more HP than I could ever want. However, I'm not sure that'd work out, and you can't test that in the trainer, so...

Have you faced anything like Scaredgirl's eternity deck (http://elementstheforum.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,395.0.html)? Seems like eternity/reverse time would be the best counters to a 70 HP gravpull monster besides craploads of damage.

Deck Help / Speed deck for farming AI
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:48 pm »

I read all the other decks, and while the other speed decks might be faster, they cost a lot, especially the fire one, with brimestone eaters and ruby dragons. And unlike their decks, this deck will beat all the lvl 3's, even though a bad draw can seriously lower your reward.
You can easily make a mono-fire deck without brimstones or any other upgraded cards. It'll be slightly less effective than Chival's, but mine still usually wins in about a minute on most matches. Mono-dark is basically the same. They still cost 500+ due to the drags, but that's not too bad considering you already own some copies of most other cards you'd want in the deck.
