right... it's just I don't understand how you can have runs whose probabilities are on the order one in a billion..

For example, I don't think zhen_rogue was using my deck card to card or that he waited for  2 turns... since the probability of not getting a qt in the first 2 turns in 16 of 40 games is
ONE IN A QUADRILLION (this is not a joke, calcs are below)!!! No one, ever, is this unlucky.... I mean.. you're more likely to be killed by a meteor... Also, loosing 18 of 24 games where you have pillars in starting hand is also obscenely high.. are you not running my deck upped? I mean, it's either that or you're seriously not using the deck correctly... Also, probability of getting a shield in the first two turns is 71%... which is higher than most other fg grinding decks...

So, I don't know what you guys are doing...but I get fairly high win percentage and it's not because I am exceptionally lucky..

Anyways, here are some calculations on how this deck behaves... this not a matter of opinion, this is math.. I am attaching a screen shot from Wolfram Mathematica

*note in the image it says prob of not getting towers in 18 of 40 instead of 16 of 40... but the calcs are don't for 16 of 40... also, prob of not drawing in 18 of 40 is one in like 10^19




Also.. I guess I'll start recording my games against which FG I played and win/lose/elemental so you guys can have something to compare to...

Have tried using ivalmain's deck for 40 matches now, results are:
16 = game quit/loss due to no quantum towers in initial draw, and no towers/supernovas by draw 2
18 = loss
6 = wins
15% Win Rate

The "bad draw" component seems really high on this deck for some reason, i'm wondering if simply adding a quantum tower, or maybe changing the supernovas to novas could make a noticeable difference.
Granted, 40 isn't a very big number to base final conclusions on, i'll keep playing with it a bit and see if my luck was simply bad.
Don't quit if you don't get quanta the first or second turn..
seriously... don't, you have at least a 50% chance to win still..

Also, with three hourglasses, the chance of getting an hourglass in the first 8 cards (initial 7 + first draw) is statistically 60%. You can calculate it as (1 - (32!*27!)/(24!*35!)) * 100%....

Chance of getting a shield is even higher (since there are 4 of them instead of 5)... chance of getting a qt are higher then that of scaregirl's or dragoon's decks and those were kings of fg before sundial nerf...

Um... probability of decking out with no eternity is 1 in 35... so that means about 3% of your games should be lost because of this.. not getting a shield in 15 games, where there are 4 shields in 35 cards (+ miracle) and it's a speed deck is also VERY unlikely :P ... I wouldn't add a second eternity (nor do I have one) since it's an extra card and not having it only screws you 3% of the games...

A few notes, again, don't try to fight rainbow and divine glory.. just quit.. it's going to be a loss anyways...  for the remaining gods, I stand by my 70% estimate, I won like 29 out of 43 games I last played which is 67%... and frankly a few of them were accidental losses (ie, i decked myself out with an hourglass once, I forgot to use eternity twice, I didn't draw eternity 'till the very end once). ... if you don't count them then it's 29 of 39 which is 74%... again, just quitting on rainbow and divine (and not counting them)...

Try to play shields in order bonewall -> phase shield -> phase shield -> bone wall... Don't play miracle till you are about to die... I mean.. there IS a learning curve with this deck...

I'm glad you like it! yeah, this is a very fast way to grind, I mean, even when compared with more thorough decks since it's like almost the same winning percentage as the best decks, except it's incredibly fast matches :P

And there isn't a terrible learning curve, just use your creatures/quint/protects wisely. It's also great in PVP as I have played/beaten a few 20-30k range players who were running pvp decks... ab all upped shriker rush still kills me though.

is way more difficult than Divine Glory, IMO.

Plenty of creature control, and those immortal forest spirits. Basically, if you can't keep Bone Wall up (and it will fall eventually), you're screwed.

Remember, the deck works as advertised only with all cards upped! It's also critical to have both improved miracle and eternity (the two rares).

Ofc, if you get  divine glory and rainbow just quit.. Graviton is extremly difficult unless you get a quinted oty + rain of fire very early since it is difficult to control his momentumed creatures as they have high health... Seism, hermes and the poison gods can be a pain but beatable if you get the right cards... Ferox, gemini, miracle, ffq, elidnis, and obliterator are all very high win probability.

I draw very aggressively, use eternity to not deck out.. you should be able to go through all 35 cards in <15 turns... very important to not loose druid and I would suggest to hold out on playing oty until you have quint.. however, since you have 2 otys, if opponent has strong creatures, then it's ok to play oty without quint... I wouldn't put quint on elite ffq though.. if you loose ffq, may be a good idea to put protect on graveyard.. as a way to make more creatures, however, always leave one protect to be played on eternity... I usually don't play eternity early on since it may be more useful to steal enemy weapon.. ofc... if god has steals/explodes then don't play eternity until you can protect it..

All right, I think this has roughly 70% win rate against fg (based on only 20 games though, so if someone wants to get better stats, that would be welcome)... I quit if i am matched with divine glory or rainbow....

You mean 15 gods. There are the old 11 false gods, plus the four new ones (Ferox, Divine Glory, Destiny, Obliterator).
ah.. hm.. well, that's true :P

Ok, well, I was able to lower my deck to 38 cards and it seem to have positive effects..  Will report after further testing/tweaking (i'm still open to suggestions though)

In:
1x Sundial
1x Empathic Bond
1x Dimension shield

This deck isn't going to kill all FGs.  Miracle, Ferox, Gemini, Chaos Lord, Destiny, Morte, and Incarnate should be wins.  It doesn't have to be upgraded, but it helps.

Against most you will wait until a turn before you would be dead to play any of your defense cards to allow more time for setup.  You won't want to play this way against Fire Queen, Gemeni, or Morte.  You're gonna want to start playing your defense cards at about half life to allow for Flame lances, momentum, and poison.  Against Gemeni, try to play your dimension shields first since they don't stop momentum and sundials do.

Hm....

I find that i deck out without eternity against both miracle and rainbow... protect i find is useful against seism, hermes, and rainbow... With pillars, may be, but the reason I have so many is that I get quite a few starts with no pillars.... Taking out an oty is something I was thinking about however ....

Hello All,

So, I have so far been playing with decks that I've made myself, and before the sundial nerf, that allowed me to be quite successful in farming gods. However, now, I have an almost upgraded deck, yet I have only about 40% success rate. To improve this, I want to ask you guys to comment on my deck and how I can change it. I am also posting the list of cards I own. I also ask that you only suggest modifications that I can (1) buy at the bazaar or (2) already own.
