Deck Help / Re: Mono Fire HELP!!!!!!

How do you change an immolation rush deck for pvp. The only one's I've seen are for rushing the top 50.

MONO FIRE (earth mark)

3x pheonix
5x lava golem
6x immolation
6x photon
3x deflagleration
1x fahrenhiet (if you dont have one then replace it with hammer)
6x burning pillar

this deck is probably the hardest to play but the best.

This looks like a deck example I recieved when I asked for help with rushing the top 50.
I think it might need tweaking for pvp1 becasue the goal is differnt. For t50 it helps to be extra extra fast to have a chance at winning rares from the top 50 who use lots of upgrades. I see lots of creture control in pvp 1 (firebolt, lightning, rage potion...). Put rage potions in it?

The decks posted are unupped.

I was assuming PVP meant PVP ONE
THIS is for PVP ONE (NO UPGRADES, those marks should be pillars) http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5828.0.html

My post came out wrong because I was in a hurry.
The other ones are UNUPPED but for THE WRONG ENVIRONMENT. Should have been more clear about that. My mistake. I was trying to explain that a deck someone posted was really for rushing the top 50 (because it was from their deck help post that had the goal of playing vs top 50) with NO UPGRADES and NOT FOR PVP ONE. I went overboard with my explanation.

I'm sure this will work:
Everyone is giving advice for an upped deck, which is clearly not the objective - he is using it for Beginner's League.  You're most likely losing because a majority of your damage is coming from dragons - dragons with low hp. PvP decks almost always have atleast a few creature control cards - lightnings, shockwave, firebolts - any form of cc will kill a crimson dragon except for a <10 :darkness quanta drain life. Because of this, i'm sure your dragons die often and you have no capacity for damage. I would keep 2-3 dragons for overflow quanta and extra damage, but take your main damage from golems who can grow to the point where they are hard to kill. I'd recommend also taking your quanta from immolates instead of pillars for speed. I'd try a deck like this:

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9
Instead of bolts for control use rage potions, they can be used offensively and defensively for CC or on your golems. I added a couple phoenixes if you need something to immolate later in the game (and they have good damage). I added the immolates instead of pillars for speed and kept the deflags for shields. You can keep the sword (use a gavel instead for more damage) if you don't have a fahrenheit, not a problem. Using golems for damage will leave your deck less susceptible to creature control and early golems will allow you to grow them to 5+ hp where CC is less effective and may require 2 spells instead of 1, saving other golems from dying.

edit: got ninja'd while posting =(. but all this in mind, fire stall is my favorite fire deck

try this http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5828.0.html plastique's reply has a deck in it. Feel free to tweak a deck until it suits your preference.

The Golem rush is good for T50 to get rares.

Golem rush can be tweaked as well. BOth Crimson Dragon and Phoenix work.

A dragon one
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5ur
Fire shield helps aganist ROL hope decks (to get rid of all those rays of light)

For a Phoneix one:
You could Repalce dragons with phoenixes and a deflag with another Phoenix and The fire shield with another pillar. Also If you have no rares you could use a hammer for the weapon. Either Vampire Stiletto or Farenheit repalce the hammer when you get it.

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fc 5fc 5fc 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9

Experiment with the golem rush deck, that one I saw is just an example, Golems with either crimson dragons or phoenixes will work vs t50. You could fit a fire shield in it to help against ROL Hope. A vampire Stiletto (instad of farenheit) can come out on the fist turn an heal you a bit. Depends on your preference. Phnoeixes are cheaper and harder to get rid of and cna be immolationed but draogns do more damage. I've seen a rage potion used in it as well.

advice I recieved about golem rushes

Making that deck a fractal deck won't work well. With just the mark, you have to wait atleast 4 or 5 turns to wait to play a fractal - the game should be almost over at that point with a good rush deck. Also, make the mark :earth for the golems, immolations also help out with earth quanta. If you're looking for a fire rush deck, you should probably take out the shield and the RoF, as mass CC shouldn't be a priority in a rush deck.

You could go with something like this if you want a Golem rush deck. Creature control isn't a high priority, but deflags are important to get rid of shields:

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fc 5fc 5fc 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9
use immolates on photons and play whatever fire creatures you have. Use the earth mark for grown and immolate will give you excess earth quanta. Try to keep the deck centered on one idea. If you want a rush deck, take out creature control because that slows down the deck. If you want a fire bolt finisher, add more fire shields and less creatures to stall out and then win with huge fahrenheit hits and fire bolts at the end. Remember the purpose of your deck when you're building it and stay with it through the whole deck, don't try to do 4 different things with one deck.

How well does the shreiker deck work? Maybe add 2 pillars to it. (-1 shrieker, -1 earthquake to go easier on earth?)

Deck Help / Re: which deck?
« on: June 27, 2010, 06:16:12 pm »
The first one is batter for AI3 because it is faster (more pillars, can get shriekers out faster. For that one you could replace a pillar with a longsword. For T50 earthquakes will help against decks made by people. You need more defense against people. The dragons is expensive and you have less pillars so try replacing the dragon with an earthquake or the dragon and a shrieker with 2 reverse times. See youe previous post with 3 decks these comments about the shrieker deck come from there. I tried them an I think they would help vs the Top 50.

You are right it is really [YOU]. I think [YOU] is a reptillian shapeshifter who wants to take over Elements for some reason.

And if you have 4 titans? With 2, take ligntnings out for shards. They could help vs growth cretures but shards help you last longer. hmmmmm
