Duo-Decks / Re: My black holes and revelations
« on: November 04, 2010, 08:36:28 pm »
Here's a similar deck I've been working on:

Code: [Select]
6u5 6u5 6u5 6u5 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 745 745 745 745 74b 74b 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 74o 75m 75m 7n2 7n2
I only have one gravity nymph, but more would help the deck.  The deck is playable without the nymph, either run it with just 30 cards (what is shown, without the nymph), or you could add another charger.  I've posted it fully upgraded, However I don't have all the towers upped right now, so I can't give a true opinion on how it will work.  What I have right now is:
Code: [Select]
6u5 6u5 6u5 6u5 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 744 744 744 744 745 745 745 745 74b 74b 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 74o 75m 75m 7n2 7n2Anyways, I've found the shield to be unnecessary, seeing as your quantum denial will almost certainly stop your foe from playing anything out of the oty's range.  The two pendulums help to get discords out faster, but they could just as easily be replaced with two more towers.

The main problem with this deck, and with any black hole mono/duo/trio is that gravity is so damn expensive.  Every card costs a ton, making these decks slow.  Even with all upped towers, it would still have speed problems.

Care to explain what cards you're going to use PA on?

Those are some pretty ambiguous criticisms, care to explain them?  What options/effects/paradigms/restrictions are you talking about, because I don't think anyone else sees these problems.

Maybe change the two graviton guys for either 2 momentums or 1 momentum and 1 precognition?  Other that that I really don't see any areas for improvement.

Deck Help / Re: Stallgate

I don't like the basilisk bloods.  You're stalling, therefore the creature will presumably break out of its 6 turn coma.  All that's doing is buffing the foe.

Try this:
-4x BB
+1x Fire Lance
+2x Rage Elixir
+1x Eagle Eye

You may as well have a few weapons, probably EE, but Trident would work well too.

I'd replace the three phoenix with 3 destroyers, seeing as you have plenty of earth and fire.  Other than that it looks nice.

General Discussion / Re: Elements Community Nymph Totals

Bout death being the rarest...  I just won my SECOND one of them.  That puts me at  :death :death :gravity :air :air (for the totals, the additional death is the only new one, the previous 4 are already counted.)

I finally break a 2 month dry streak only to get my second death nymph.  Bullshit.

Life / Re: Friends of the Druid - A deck optimised for score via EM
« on: October 29, 2010, 08:47:49 pm »
This is JDMT's deck, its also the exact deck I use for AI3.

Code: [Select]
6rk 6rk 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ae 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7bu 7bu 7bu 7bu 7bu
Its effectively the same as all the other life rushes, except the longswords allow the occasional faster kill.  Typically the healing from a staff isn't necessary, whereas 2 more damage and 1 less cost is.

It just comes down to personal preference, some want it tweaked for more speed, some want it tweaked for more EMs.

Simply put, this is too complicated.  Multiple skills on 1 card is clunky.

False Gods / Re: Best False God

Neptune is easy, but he's auto-quit for RoL-Hope.  Damn inundations...
Incarnate is pretty easy too, I'd put him on par with Neptune assuming you're using rainbow of some sort.
Ferox is tricky for RoL-Hope, and can often out-rush a rainbow.  I'd put him as mid difficulty.
Fire queen is easy as well, though things can get out of hand if she throws out too many queens at once.

The reason I say Osiris is one of the easiest is he is easy for ANY deck at all.  With my RoL-Hope, I EM him 70% of the time I get him, and with CCYB variants, he's almost as easy.

Every time I think DM needs a nerf, I imagine if he'd been given gravity mark in the first place, and just dropped all the light cards.  At least its not THAT bad...
