Since search option doesnt work and i couldnt find such a thread i decided to open one

so my question to you is: whats your long term motivation for playing elements?

i started playin a year ago or so.. and played for maybe 1 week, then forgot about it and now im playing again for like 5-6 weeks
i really enjoyed creating new decks and trying to get better, but since one week i got to a point where i finally could beat the false gods and golden arena. since then i can swim in electrum if i want and build every nearly every deck. so then i started farming for shards because those were the cards i was missing, now i got all the shards (maybe not 6copies of each but enough) and can beat platinum arena league.
and suddenly the games starts to bore me a little
i need some kind of goal, playing endlessly just to creat different decks, upgrading them, just doesnt seem that fun

so, now tell me - why are you playing? (i know there are some guys in this forum who are already playing for years)

i would definetly remove the cards already mentioned and maybe add a protect artifact for protecting your eternity, because once its destroyed u have no chance to prevent decking out and since in such a large deck the creatures u need to win often come late, decking out is not rare

Trying fully upped decks unupped tends to not work. It was tested vs platinum arena a while ago and did fairly well. None of these fit my playstyle but they're all viable if you want to use pests.

e: This was the actual deck tested at 46% winrate vs plat at the time. I just copied the one from the archive

since i added an eclipse and an additional hourglass to make chances bigger to draw one early i works pretty well gonna start upgrading soon

I've never liked pestal for arena myself after trying 5 or so variants. Perhaps give

just tried that one (not fully upgraded) on silver and it keeps losing a lot too, u get a lot bad draws,
like 3 fractal and some quantum towers and than u can wait till u hit some creature while desperatly hoping for some novas to get your quanta for fractal
earthquakes and explosions are sometimes pretty useless too when the opponent plays 4 supernovas and u got nothing to destroy
i cant play it fast enough too shut down the opponent
my only not upgraded cards are the fractals, devourers and earthquakes

edit: oh and basicly when your vampire is one of the last cards you are doomed, because thats the only damage dealing creature, adding an eclipse works though

thats why i hate any fire deck in the arena
if it got dexterity u cant get any creature or permanent out because its burned down instantly

but what i hate even more are gotp decks.. except if i play a time deck, then i love em xD

i kinda dont get the shard of readiness now, the thing with the "can use skill twice this turn" is new, isnt it?
just tried it on a lava golem, and he couldnt grow at all that turn
is this a bug or is it meant to not work with growth skill?

btw: when im already posting something: can someone explain me while i cant search the forum?

I tried this deck on Halfbloods, i dont got that much upgraded cards, so most are unupgradded, except for hourglasses
i also played it with boneshield, and once i managed to get that out i had already won actually... it started growing up to 60shields or something

i also tried a version with 2 schroedingers cats in exchange for the firefly queen, worked pretty well too

i love this deck, it may not win as many games as other decks, but the idea is great and its fun to play
