Forum Archive / Re: RARE CARD FARMS - updated daily by the community!
« on: November 16, 2010, 09:33:37 am »
Im not sure here is the correct place to post this, but it's for everyone's good, so I'll do it.

How does T50 work? I mean, is it based on my score when the game autosaves after every single game I play, or is it only based on the people who submit their score? and does it update instantly?

sometimes I fight T50 with lower scores than myself, but I never fought myself... if it's based on the ones who submit their highscore, than I could farm myself, right? or the deck picked for T50 is the one Im instantly using?

this confuses me =þ

also, I saw the spin win rates post, but I saw nothing about a deck with less than 6 rares, like a 29 pillar 1 rare deck, can anyone give me these numbers? because I see eternity is a very requested card and I also want it, so I could use the ones I have to farm myself, but would that give a too low spin rate?

well, any answer to any of these questions is greatly apreciated

I'd use fractal in any creature just to raise damage or aflatoxin on my own creature. waiting for both really makes this deck slow.

still, I think with some small changes it can get faster and still strong as it is.

I cant test it but from what I got waiting for quanta wasnt the big deal, but actually waiting for the right card. may be more hourglasses and time mark?

- once the AI has cells on his field, I use fractal on cells ??? (keep in hand a few against mass CC FG's)

thats a real cool strategy, I never tought about it. Since u dont depend so much on the cells until late game, fractal works way better than my double aflatoxin.

yes, its quite slow because u have to w8 for quint or PA before using anything and thats what Im trying to avoid. the cells allow me to because they are not targeted.

brilliant deck, I really like it.

ps: do u really wait for aflatoxin and fractal on every single game? cause that would slow you down a lot

deepdown, would you mind sharing your deck? I always have a hard time against rainbow and u seem to beat him easily. I dont have any nymph but Im sure I could take some nice ideas out of your deck to improve mine.
Or at least can u give me some tips? cause Im kinda stuck on how to raise my win rate.

ps: malignant cells will only be targeted by massive CC

15 win 33 loses ? that is 31% win rate. i suggest adding one protect artifact one permafrost and 2 quint.
I know these cards can be handy for some games, but I just couldnt fit them in there without making the deck slower.
I guess placing these cards asks for bigger changes that I havent figured out. May be sum1 can find a way and post here?

sorry, I posted it wrong, 15 wins out of 33 games.

I corrected it already

A mirror shield may be a good replacement for turtle shield, or even just an add. It'll block any spells as well as damage from the cells, and can easily be replaced by another shield if/when needed. Its cheap casting cost is very useful for reducing early damage if you draw it, and it makes Octane and Decay a lot easier.
never tought about it, Ill give it a try. Tnx!

you should've said earlier that most game wins will come from decking out
not really, decking out a FG takes forever. but FG seem to work one of either ways:
1 - they dont use much CC, but can reduce damage;
2 - they have many CC, but take most of the damage.

in case 1, fallen elf/druid will make sure you do damage. In case 2, pulvy will take care of any shields if needed, so just make sure you dont deck out and the cells will do all the damage.

when I say the malignant cells are the most important thing, its because they can kill in less than 8 turns and make sure you keep your full health.

about octane: yes, pretty much a loss. Theres one and only one possibility to win: you start with pulvy and dont run out of gravity mana, place horuglasses to be destroyed and, when he plays unstable gas + fire shield, you are going to lose all the mutants, so u need the second aflatoxin. If he plays both in the same turn twice you  are lost. yes, I've had this lucky win, but octane is pretty much a loss =þ

I've started a win/lose rate, Ill post how I've done so far:

win/lose rate:15 wins/33 games
miracle - 2/3
octane - 0/4
decay - 0/1
incarnate - 2/2
morte - 1/3
osiris 0/1
destiny - 1/3
scorpio - 1/1
dark matter - 0/1
paradox - 1/1
ferox - 1/2
dream catcher 1/2
fire queen - 2/2
chaos lord - 2/2
obliterator - 1/1
seism - 0/3
eternal phoenix - 0/1
