False Gods / Re: Epic survival against false gods (DG, neptune, ferox)
« on: September 09, 2010, 06:52:58 pm »
This is what I call epic survival... (I've already opened up 3 paints, before the last card, cause somehow I knew that this gonna happen)

That idiotic AI...

So the bastard managed to blow up 6 towers, which hurted me badly in a snova-less deck, but whatever. Managed to stabilize the field when I realized that Eternity is my last card. So I used the hourglass and played the weapon (got the message: that was your last card blabla) and mutated one skeleton to a dragon. Of course it got rewinded so I stayed in game...

Issue Archive / Re: antimatter + phase shield ??
« on: September 08, 2010, 05:15:29 pm »
OK here's the situation:
My opponent plays antimatter on one of my creatures. A turn later he plays a Phase Shield.
While my other creatures cannot deal damage to him, the antimattered one still keeps helaing him.  :o

While I don't think it's a bug in the true sense of the word, it's still very illogical and irritating.
...man, i just hope that your "creature" was not a charger, or momentumed...

Issue Archive / Frozen weapon, without frozen doll??? [confirmed]

Ok, here's what happened to me lately against ChaosLord:

1. CL played some creatures and a discord
2. Antimattered one of his lycan
3. CL used imp.mutation on anti lycan, which turned to voodoo with ablaze skill
4. CL played a creature which were devoured, providing me a skeleton

5. CL used congeal on my skeleton and frozen his discord aswell

*snip*
Ooh, I'm intersted in this deck.
OFFTOPIC:

Some thoughts:
- though I tested in real game (idiots never use trainer), I recommend to test it in trainer, (just don't want to be responsible for losses...)
- created this in about 5mins so it needs tweaking
- the very underestimated nightmare is perfect to slow down and with eternity even stop the FG draw power, which is their biggest advantage, imo
- think this never gonna be an awesome farmer, since there are really fast FG's, furthermore in my little experience games can depend the FG's initial hand and even the coin toss
- tried to lower the amount of cards as possible, but still could use some other quanta (esp gravy)
- u can choose what to nightmare: eternity, pharaoh, doll (doll is the least dangerous darkness card used by AI, if it can use)

messin around with a draw denying deck (needs tweaking), exploiting a bit the poor AI:

Elidnis: second turn spectre with a quint ??? , then he got nightmared...

Elidnis again: he managed to pull out 3ultis and 2crawlers, then he got nightmared...

Gemini: he did not pulled any immortals, then he got nightmared...

Paradox: TU'd the Eternity 4times ??? ,instead of rewinding he used the hourglasses and of course he got nightmared....

(Ferox rushed me out, though I had a real bad draw; Rainbow just played the dolls; and -what a shame- Neptune had an awesome hand and managed to pull out 4squids)

Then what do u think about these:

I said as far as *I* get to beating DM, lol. Time controlbows fare much better than my Entropy CCYB-Variation. :)
I'm really sorry Mr.guolin, as I did not wanted to taunt you. But you've mentioned "Rainbow" in your post, thats why I replied. (Btw, oldskool timebow has the same chance(0-1%) against DivineGlory, as CCYB against DarkMatter, imo)

The closest I get to having any chance against Dark Matter using a Rainbow:

He didn't pull Black Holes until a few turns in, but I was no match for the chargers.
Then what do u think about these:

after 2 months of playing i managed to mutate an another burrowed nymph, which was actually a burowed graboid with evolve

these are extremely rare...

Ok, this is my sickest experience in the game:

That bone wall was so massive (160X)  :o that even the hardest swarm available in the game could not handle it...

And how it ended...

(won 2 cards after the sickness)

Here's a typical Chaos Lord 2nd or 3rd (can't remember) turn: (1st turn photon mutated to ruby with an active lycan skill..)

And how it ended...

« on: August 22, 2010, 01:12:12 pm »
Ok, I realized that only the upped permanents has  border around.  Thought that is the source of problems...

Had another game when the Graveyard (not the Boneyard) was bugged. My shield was fog shield. I changed the fog shield to Bonewall and the Graveyard suddenly started to work properly...
