Issue Archive / Re: Quintessenced unburrowed units become targettable
« on: June 23, 2010, 08:56:12 am »
This bug has already been identified at the Known Bugs , section "Potential Bugs (possibly Intended Behaviour)"
Quote
Burrow/Quintessence

Burrowing a creature after it is made Immaterial by Quintessence or Anubis' ability removes the permanent immaterial status, replacing it with the burrowed effect. When the creature unburrows, it is no longer immaterial and can be targeted like any other creature, but the immaterial symbol (round Time mark) still remains. This may be intended, but is, at the very least, a visual bug.

Dont get the point of RoLs and Archangel. You have nothing to heal, and RoLs are just a food for your opponent. Deck also seems low on pillar count. Sure its a stall deck, but rather expensive to use, and 10 towers in 47 cards is prone to bad draws.
I'd suggest removing RoLs and Archangel (they bring nothing to deckout strategy), and replacing them with 4 pillars.

Yes the RoL could better be replaced with towers and instead of removing the archangel I was thinking about putting more archangels or some dragons.

Because usually you will not deckout your opponent but diminish its damage, while building up your own damage. And I get many situations, where I have abundant light quanta that go to waste when using miracle. (might aswell do something with it)

Id take out 3-4 miracles( you only need 2 or 3)
if you remove the miracles then you wont need the rols so id replace them for more sundials
id also take out 2 sogs

Nah you still want to be able to draw miracle , thats why I have 6. This way I usually start with one in my hand or draw it in one of the first few turns. Its not really made around the morning glories btw, they are just an extra   ;D

pretty neat idea, but it's too much susceptible to control decks.
for example a classic rainbow deck can win easily (sundials, dimensional shields, bone walls - you basically have just 7 creatures to deal damage), the same for a ROL+HOPE.
other shields can harm this deck A LOT (permafrost, fire buckler, spine carapace) leaving you with so much little damage to deal to your opponent.

imho a "mono white" deck that wins constantly it's really had to pull  off...

keep up the good work!

(why the 3 ray of light?)
I havent said it before, but one other strategy of this deck is to deckout the opponent.  The reason I made this deck is because I wanted to make a t50 staller to challenge the farmers a little bit.

As for the ray of lights, to be really honest I don't really know why, I only put them in to make it have some variety. Replacing them with towers would probably be better.

First of my personal decks I am posting. I have tryed it out at pvp2 and some friendly duels and it seems to be effective.

Its basically heal heal and some more healing. The morning glories are there to give some unremovable damage output. Sundials are played as occasional stallers or just to get an extra draw. In the beginning of the game, when my opponent doesn't have damage out i will rather try to play my morning glories first, instead of shards.

It speaks for itself that you only animate when second morning glory is in hand. I don't really have more to say about this deck. When I'm in the t50 , I sometimes put this deck up, so you might have already seen it.

Let me know what you all think about it  :)

While this thread is still open i wanted to add that antimattering a pufferfish, still results in a pufferfish that poisons you.
But an antimattered pufferfish doesnt perform a succesful attack does it?

Yes, but still this should be possible regarding the effect of the Shard of Readiness. Now using the shard on the leaf dragon makes it worse, instead of improving it.

I found out using shard of readiness on a leaf dragon(probably also rustler) takes away the ability to use photosynthesis multiple times a turn.
In other words u can use the skill just once.
Shouldn't you be able to still make use of the ability multiple times?

P.S. This would mean using the shard to make infinite life quanta  :D
