Sorry, I don't know what that is.
That would be a Buddhist priest burning himself to death in an act of defiance and protest (http://"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Th%C3%ADch_Qu%E1%BA%A3ng_%C4%90%E1%BB%A9c").

Naturally, the shiny, media-friendly flavor of Buddhism promoted in the West is quiet about this sort of thing.

Muslim extremists(I assume that's what you're talking about, with the suicides?)
Really?  My mind jumped to this guy:

I'm currently studying Zoroastrianism along with Old Persian culture
Same here.

I'll throw Manicheanism, Mandaeism, and Yezidi.  Any of the obscure Near Eastern faiths are the most interesting.

The Catholics and the Protestants did a number on each other in the Thirty Years' War.  The Catholics did a fine job fighting themselves during the Hundred Years' War.

The Christians fought bitterly against the Muslims during the First Crusade and practically wiped out the Cathars during the Albigensian Crusade.  The Christians sacked one of the largest and most important Christian cities in the world, Constantinople, during the Fourth Crusade.

Muslim forces penetrated Western Europe as deeply as France before being stopped by Christian forces under Charles Martel at the Battle of Tours.  Muslim forces fought other Muslim forces eighteen years later at the Battle of the Zab that ended the Umayyad Caliphate.

See a pattern?  A better question would have been "why do people fight each other?"

Issue Archive / Re: GotP not working

Just had a game where GoTP would cause damage against me when discarded only about 50% of the time.  I couldn't discern any pattern; just sometimes it worked as advertised, sometimes it didn't.

Yikes.  This definitely does work.

Once the AI is tweaked to target cloaks it'll still work beautifully against seism and any of the no-PC gods.  Dunno if the win rate will be better than Shakars or a top-notch ROL/fractal by that point.

Some sort of time rainbow?  Or possibly Eternal Crusader renamed.

Why not give it only a 50% chance of working?  Perhaps a "foot soldier" 2/2 colorless creature could be added, and give it a 50% chance of turning into that.

Something similar to the mutation mechanic.

Earth / Re: Iridium Warden | Vanadium Warden

The idea here is that the Warden is guarding you (the player) from one attacking creature.  Creatures on the ground are forced into a brawl with the Warden when they attack, but Airborne creatures can stay out of his reach -- they just also fail to reach you (the player).  That's why the Warden can Delay airborne creatures but can't harm them.
I'm sure some lyrical rationalization could be found for the mechanic, but it really would be simpler if it exhibited consistent behavior that could be summed in a sentence.  Does not work on flyers.

Would there be any objection to making its ability cost  :time ?  It kinda goes with the delay mechanic.  It would also keep the squid and nymph special in that they're mono/mono cost delayers.

Alternatively:

-Make the warden rare

-Make freeze stack, perhaps in a non-linear fashion (e.g. congeal freezes for 4 turns, but every freeze or congeal thereafter only adds an aditional 1 turn)

-Make delay a toggle.  If a creature is delayed, hitting it with the warden's ability doesn't add more delay counters, it removes existing ones.

-Make airborne creatures flat out untargettable to the warden

-remove the damage to target mechanic.  It's convoluted; save it for something else and keep this as a cheap defensive card.

Rainbow Decks / Re: The Charge of the Light Brigade(1.26 FG Killer)

Silence was in the OP's build of the deck, and I saw no particular reason to get rid of it.  It's helpful to stall early on and to negate miracle later on.  It could plausibly be replaced with animate weapon, steal, improved antimatter; i.e. any of the usual anti-FG standby spells.
