False Gods / Loot rate
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:02 pm »

Some very exact numbers there... how have you arrived at those?
Well, this is quite technical actually. I isolated the entry point & end point of the spinning procedure inside the swf file. Then extracted the corresponding algorithm. Converted it in a more efficiently executable language (this was action script like every piece of code that is inside a flash file and I converted it into C#, I can give source code if needed). Then ran the procedure about 330 millions times (10 millions wins per god * 3 spins * 11 gods) and voila.

My complete results are on the wiki. See this for example:
http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Queen
You can use the nav-bar at the bottom of the page to see other gods too.

Sorry if this is not clear, I'm not native english speaker :/

False Gods / Loot rate

totally disagree here. I´d go with firequeen as the god where you win most followed bye seism. can´t say which one brings most less could very well be scorpy
Fire Queen is actually second, just after Rainbow. And Seism is not that good at dropping cards, you might just have been lucky with him.

Here's the exact order:

1. Rainbow (46.9% chance to loot something after 3 spins)
2. Fire Queen (43.3%)
3. Gemini (41.6%)
4. Incarnate (40.2%)
5. Graviton (39.3%)
6. Seism (36.8%)
7. Hermes (35.1%)
8. Chaos Lord (34.8%)
9. Miracle (33.0%)
10. Morte (32.6%)
11. Scorpio (31.8%)

Go down to less than 12 HP, and you'll see it:

In case The Archduke's comment wasn't clear yesterday, my WIP on the wiki is not speculation from my side, it's the real AI algorithm.
The page is about 90% done now and you can already find answers to your last questions there (about Miracle, Poison & Unborrow)

False Gods / Loot rate

you're way above the supposed 1 in 20 average.
Loot rates against fake gods are actually closer to 10/15% per spin which makes a 32 to 47% chance to loot something after 3 spins.
Rainbow being the one with the highest loot rate (mostly quantum towers though) and Scorpio with the lowest.

Forgive me if I'm naive, but how do you win with a deck like this, and against who?
Added disclaimer at the top of the post.
Thanks for letting me know it wasn't clear ;)

Another interesting statistic:

- chances to get any rare with a (24 pillars + 6 rare1 + 0 rare2) deck:33.8%
- chances to get any rare with a (23 pillars + 6 rare1 + 1 rare2) deck:31.9%
- chances to get any rare with a (22 pillars + 6 rare1 + 2 rare2) deck:31.2%
- chances to get any rare with a (21 pillars + 6 rare1 + 3 rare2) deck:31.6%
- chances to get any rare with a (20 pillars + 6 rare1 + 4 rare2) deck:32.7%
- chances to get any rare with a (19 pillars + 6 rare1 + 5 rare2) deck:34.5%
- chances to get any rare with a (18 pillars + 6 rare1 + 6 rare2) deck:36.5%
This leads me to this conclusion:
Refrain from adding a rare card to your deck if you don't have at least 5 copies of it.
If you add a card with 4 copies or less, this will make your farm deck worst overall.

This thread is made for players who are in the Top 50 and intend to share their rare cards.
It's NOT a strategy for new players who want to win rares.
If you're new to the game and looking for advices, here's a starting point:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,522.msg5018#msg5018 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,522.msg5018#msg5018)

The best possible rare farm deck is made of:

18 x random pillars (NO quantum towers)
6 x rare card of your choice
6 x another rare card of your choice

Here are the stats (chances to get something out of the deck after 1 spin):
___________________________________________________

With a (24 pillars / 6 rare) deck
Nothing49.8%
Pillar16.4%
Rare33.8%
___________________________________________________

With a (18 pillars / 6 rare1 / 6 rare2) deck
Nothing61.8%
Pillar1.6%
Rare118.3%
Rare218.3%
___________________________________________________

With a (12 pillars / 6 rare1 / 6 rare2 / 6 rare3) deck
Nothing71.1%
Pillar0.1%
Rare19.6%
Rare29.6%
Rare39.6%
___________________________________________________

With a (6 rare1 / 6 rare2 / 6 rare3 / 6 rare4 / 6 rare5) deck
Nothing81.0%
Rare13.8%
Rare23.8%
Rare33.8%
Rare43.8%
Rare53.8%
___________________________________________________

In any case, if you want to setup a successful farm deck:
- never put quantum towers in it
- never put more than 3 different card types

(yes, I was wrong in the other thread)
If you want me to test other combos, please let me know. I'll edit the post.
