If you let your time expire the GotP discard card damage isn't dealt.

Here is a desync error that occurred at the start of the game or in other words a desync error that instantly occurred prior to being dealt cards.

Why does this happen?
There was no timeout that I'm aware of, but it keeps happening.
I'v lost a little over a dozen games this way in the past few weeks.

I agree that particular line is convicting and I've offered to apologize for it.

First and foremost, from experience, i know that Higurashi is *not* a bad, whimmy moderator.
Also, you're saying it was after your saying a bad word. That is actually her doing her job, giving you a warning which you openly refuted.
On the other hand : you flamed against her, insulted her. I'm surprised you haven't been banned from forums for this.
You could perfectly have gone the other way round, asked her politely to unban you/ tell you for how long you were banned. And wow! you were done, and problem was solved. Seriously, why didn't you do that?
There have been folks here that have voiced that some bad language should be okay.
Well, if I had decided to handle this privately, I would have to constrict my personality whenever she was within ear shot.
In bringing it up here, I hoped to have a serious discussion about the permissibility of bad language both in pvp and in chat.
And just to be clear: I was not bypassing the filter - "cock" was an allowable word at that time in chat.

I won't claim to know what ulterior motives you have to continue the discussion as you have, because honestly I don't give a damn.
Just know that the Championship League has potentially lost a good player today because of this.

People on CL tend to be much older than anyone on BL. That's why I'm advocating allowing some cursing (advocacy is allowable right?), and definitely not because of any of the skewed perceptions you or Bonestorm have stated.I'm curious as to how you get that idea. The only difference between BL and CL is score, not age. The are many people in BL who could be in CL but prefer unupped play. Most adults would likely prefer CL because the fewer matches are probably a good relief from work, while not a huge commitment.
Cursing is allowed, however ranting and insulting chat mods is not, nor is circumventing chat filters.
