*shrugs* since the card was based on a realistic affect, vampires being damaged by the sun, i just carried that over...
 :darkness should get own by the sun
 :death very similar to darkness and having the sun not affect it seems odd...
 :life this made me think plants which leads to photosynthesis which should help  :life in some way right?
 :light erm... this should benefit from the sun.. being light and all...
 :air sunlight signifies a clear sky for me so i just kinda lumped this in...

I guess you could do other cards like this if balance was an issue... 'Overcast' or sumthin... w/e now my head hurts >.<

I was think if it had a big bad penalty then it could either lats longer or be :fire :fire :fire instead... I like the idea of 'playing with fire' *snickers* and think killer cards with major drawbacks could add more depth to the game in general.

Instead of uping the cost what if a negative effect occurred when it left play? maybe the backlash should relate to the element of the given rune... for this instance damage should be occurred either to your creatures or to yourself... while in the case of aether maybe skills should be wiped... given the benefit of the  :fire :fire for free the cost should be steep...

Brainstorm for backlash:
 :aether skill wipe
 :air 3 damage to each of your own creatures
 :darkness 2 poison for each of your creatures
 :death 10(?) poison for user
 :earth max HP -20
 :entropy absorb 2 of each quantum
 :fire 25 damage to player
 :gravity enemy creatures get momentum effect
 :life -4 to all of your creatures attacks
 :light gives opponent two immaterial Fallen Angel Relics (this is basically filler I'm at a loss for this one) which can be used once to grant a creature +3|+3 the relic then destroys itself.
 :time You discard 2 cards and your opponent draws one.
 :water congeal all your creatures.

I want heavy penalties for these... they aren't pillars and shouldn't be used in place of them, you need to employ strategy to get a good net benefit from them... the above are kinda unbalanced but i tried to use each element against itself ya know?

+10|+10 but then each turn it gets -X|-X maybe? dunno how much would be best? maybe x = number of ~growth card played so far? the diminishing returns would stop it from being spammed... maybe X could be 10  minus the number of poison counters you have... that would make a freaky twist lol

maybe it could affect multiple emelents diffrently... ash  :darkness guys, damage  :death, heal  :light for #, +1 life for  :life, +1 attack for  :air, etc... still situational, but now it works in a lot more situations...

A permanent that generates fire. Kenaz is a rune that is pronounced KAne-awze and means some thing along the lines of torch or fire-brand. Been thinking and the old idea was stupid... now i think a (semi)permanent to compliment a rush dec by generating more  :fire quickly but then puttering out... I like this more =P

This will help decks get started early... since that tends to be where i get my arse handed to me
So i got this idea from runes obviously... I think having another option for getting quantums aside from pillars could be nice, for instance to circumvent earthquake and the like... Every element could have it's own version though I think very little variance would be needed... I'm very iffy on the numbers, i don't really know what would be best so i kinda guessed =P

other 'Runes' element - rune name - pronunciation - rough meaning
 :aether - Ansuz - awn-sooze - god, odin (btw the runes are norse lol)
 :air - Hagalaz - haw-gaw-laws - hail
 :darkness - Thurisaz - thoor-ee-sawz - monster/devil
 :death - Eithwaz - eye-wawz - yew tree (which is associated with the dead/death)
 :earth - Algiz - all-yeese - pine woods
 :entropy - Perthro - Pertherow - dice cup (this one has several meanings, personal i was thinking Yahtzee lol)
 :fire look above =P
 :gravity - Sowilo - soe-wee-low - the sun
 :life - Mannaz - mawn-nawz - mankind/human
 :light - Ingwaz - eeeng-wawz - Angel
 :time - Dagaz - Thaw-gauze - day
 :water - Laguz - law-gooze - water

this is all at least kind close probably... I'm actually copying off my old notes so... =P I plan to clean up the image but I'm really close to smash my head against the desk due to that freakin art program...

Instead of the effect being automatic what if it a free ability and like lycanthropy and could only be used once? something like:

Howl: Generate 2 Pack Wolves.

This would stretch the effect out to numb it down a bit so instead of 3 guys in one turn it would be 3 in 2 turns, it would nerf the card enough that an opponent would have time to react (aka kill the wolf) and making the card more strategic in how it can be used...

-The idea is to have a card that will cause potential issues for both players, and by upgrading that chaos becomes able to be controlled more by the player... The costs are rather iffy I think it's hard for me to decide...
-I think elements needs cards that affect both players equally, and this card would be able to sow discord with a fair few decks and would spice up an otherwise monotonous game...
-I can't find how you make a pretty card image X.X

I like this idea. The concept is great, but it seems expensive for what you get... so instead of making a major cost reduction why not add another effect?

-maybe the doll has an ability that would lock the target creature in stasis for a turn? The cost would be low enough to be playable every turn but high enough that you wouldn't ALWAYS play it (2-3 maybe? dunno =P)

-The doll could 'sap' the attack of the target... 1 per turn for the Puppet and 2 for the Doll...

I really like this concept and would love to see the card in play =D
