Actually, maybe just a trap-type of card would be better. Something that is "face down" and is triggered by a specific condition.

A bit too close to my Poison Trap (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26845.msg367290#msg367290), which is in Crucible at the current time.  Difference is that it's just for this item, where mine is for any permanent on the owner's side.
Didn't know about yours :).

Yours is more like the existing cards in this game, which really makes it mesh better. I thought of this card because I'd like to see more meta-game going on in elements. If you ever played MtG, morph kinda did something similar (bluffing what the card really is, that is).

is the twp extra  :death quanta worth the 1 extra poison damage?
Maybe 2 extra poison damage might be better (5 total), but this card relies heavily on the meta-game factor. Players will want to play copies of this trap that fit in with their deck. So if their deck is mostly upgraded, they would want this trap to be upgraded so that it doesn't look out of place.

Changed to graveyard -- oops!

I kept the poison damage low for a reason (I did think of poison/deadly poison). Think about it this way: this card effectively wastes one of your opponent's permanent control cards AND hurts them in the process. It's certainly a metagame card, but I'm thinking, in particular, this could find a place in PvP.

NOTES:
The main idea of this card is to illustrate an idea of making a counter to permanent control. Players might be a bit more reluctant to steal that graveyard that has been sitting there for a few turns until they actually know that skeletons are being produced. It also makes players have to pay a bit more attention to the board to watch for events that can tell if something is a trap or a real card.

It also, of course, simulates an actual trap. The opponent thinks that they are doing one thing that will put them ahead, when really they are about to be stung by a poisoned needle.
SERIES:
If people think this is a good idea, I might make a trap series. Time would be electrum hourglass, life would be empathic bond, etc.
This is my first post to the boards although I've watched parts of them for a while.
