Got tired of trying out various decks that just weren't working for me, or that had to be fully upped to work, and started making this.  With some help from Ralouf its now pretty much set other than getting the rest of the quantum pillars upped.

If the draws allow me, I play the diamond shield first, hold off on any creatures until I can quint them.  Usually quint a otyugh and the firefly queen so I can do creature control and produce fireflies to rewind to keep from decking out.  Though sometimes quinting a steam machine is nice too.

If I can maintain the bonewall I will stick with that after the diamond shield, if not I move to the dissipation field, which I generally have enough quantum pillars to support by then.  Hold out on miracle for as long as I can as well.

I dropped a 3rd mitosis for the empathic bond to help with EMs once I have bonewall or dissipation field up and thats worked out really well.

Eternity is obviously the last weapon I play, and I enchant it. Pulverizer is handy earlier on to deal with pesky permanents that I don't want to waste a steal on.

Once I get all the quantum pillars upped I may drop one for a lycanthrope, would work well with mitosis since I have low usage of darkness and entropy quanta.

I haven't kept track of my wins and losses, but I definitely win more than 50%.  I feel like its about 65% and with the addition of the empathic bond, a lot are becoming EMs.  The big trouble I've run into is when the HBs can rush out fast damage, or I get a poor draw.

I get to have fun against HBs now.  :D

There is little gain to playing the unupped version at all.  But with the Upped version, it at least allows you a way out, if you have the :aether to make it happen.

Deck Help / Re: Nightmares Of You Drowning... Needs Help!

Seems like you are making a lot of extra quanta for your need.  And also the dmg dealt is low.  What is this deck designed for? AI3, PVP?

I think you need to pick whether you want to do some nightmare play or some flooding based play and add in more damage dealers from there.

Deck Help / Re: Rainbow Deck for HBs

So I felt confident enough to move on from the trainer to my real game, and after some tweaking, I really like this deck:

Played about 10 games with a similar deck(+1 hourglass -1 QT) and won 7.  Moved to my real deck and went with whats above, since I dont have any more upped hourglasses.  Changed the pharaoh to the nymph since I felt I wasn't using the scarabs since I added in the otyugh and it adds precog + a card.  played another 10 games so far, lost 2, one I shouldnt have lost but I forgot to quint my otyugh.

Poison, rushes, and high damage cards seem to be my only worries so far.  And once I get up and running with my dissipation field, its just the posion to watch out for.  So if I get setup without wasting my miracle early I'm pretty well set.

I may still trade out a mitosis for a feral bond as well.

Thanks for the advice on the otyugh, quints, and pulverizer Ralouf.  :)

2nd version, I like it but I've had more than enough hourglasses.  I may try knocking 2 off and 3 pillars to get the deck down to 45 cards and see how that works.

Hah, forgot all about this post.  The deck served me well for a while, and it was a good base to move into a pestal deck later on to deal with silver league in the arena.

Deck Help / Re: A Basic Gravity/Life Deck for AI3/AI4 Farming

I'm not one of the great minds at this game, but I think you should make separate decks for AI3 and AI4.  To beat AI3 you just need to do fast damage.

I use an immolation rush for AI3, with upped phoenix you can poor out the damage pretty fast.  For life I would think horned frogs with adrenaline would work well.

I made this deck in the trainer to deal with HBs, because what I've found on here for HB decks either seem old and ineffective, or I'm far away from getting the needed cards to make them.

I started with lots of shields and healing cards to stall the HBs, but that didn't work too well, and so I moved my focus to the dissipation field for defense and firefly queen/pharaoh for creatures as they can make more creatures which add quanta and provide creature control.  I 've played about 10 games with deck in the trainer against HBs and only lost twice, once due to not getting towers fast enough and the other from facing a momentum heavy opponent.

I know that down the road my win/loss ratio will be much worse, but I kinda feel like I have something here.  There are some things I'm not sure about though.  Such as the poisons, bonewall, mitosis, having 2 firefly queens and pharaohs, and the turquoise nymph.

The turquoise nymph seems useless to me, but I don't know what to replace it with.  The poisons are nice but I seem to use them more to avoid discarding a card than playing them out of need, and bonewall I really only use when transitioning from the diamond shield to the dissipation field when there are heavy hitters in play.

I like having the mitosis cards as they can speed up my scarab and firefly production, but I wonder if feral bonds would be better.  And I also wonder if I should drop a firefly queen or pharaoh(or 1 of both) for another electrum hourglass.

Appreciate any help you guys can offer.

I really hate facing this card.  It ruins pestal, any nightmare play, black hole, silence, and heals?  Think it either shouldn't heal at all or be limited to turns.  But overall I don't like it as it eliminates certain deck choices rather than being used to compete against them.
