I seriously can't just see this card as anything besides a grey blob with eyes.
Agreed.

This could be pretty easy to rush with though - just do a Nova and Fractal combo and you'll fill up your field in a few turns provided you have some pillars producing.  My suggestion is either to 1) make the ability cost 2  :life 2) Make ability cost 4  :rainbow or 3) remove the ability and lower the playing cost to 2  :rainbow .

I think option 2 makes the most sense with the creature you are trying to make.

I think option 2 is best as well. I'll fix that ASAP.

Slightly.

I still don't think being able to play any card that costs 3 :rainbow  for 6 :life  is a good thing though.
Well maybe have a limit? like it must cost at least 5 or something.

It would allow you to play cards from another element, with no quanta generation from that element.

The balancing for a lot of cards is based on the fact that in order to combo them with other cards, you would need a source of two or more elements.

Something that would let you bypass that would have to be extremely expensive to be fair.
I was thinking of making this card match the target card's cost. That better?

Oh it might be my mistake, is this card's ability to turn a card into quanta?
For example, if you were to use this card on a Giant Frog, you would gain 2 :life?
No :P here's an example:
>I have an Otyugh and a Growth in my hand.
>I use Growth(2 :life) to change Otyugh from 4 :gravity to 4 :life
>I play Otyugh(4 :life)

So now, instead of 4 :gravity, i ended up paying 6 :life for an Otyugh.

No. This card would only have an effect if played on cards that aren't  :life, at which point they would now cost  :life.

I still think this is OP though.

Cost wise?

you might want to raise the cost.
If you were to use this on a Dragon, you could have 10 :life first turn and then just play a ton of Frogs.
A bit OP.
I don't follow...

Since Life already has so many cheap cards, I don't know if this is the best idea.
It wouldn't be just life. I would have one for all the elements. This is just sort of a "Test run" to see what the community thinks of a price conversion card.

I think the cost needs to be way increased because this almost functions as a field wide quint. Few if any deck carry enough damage to eat through all that hp, not to mention the fact that it makes all soft cc completely worthless.

Maybe if it game into the field with gravity pull as well, but really I just think that it's protective ability is way too good.
I think he should lower the health instead. That way it's a nice cheap (and temporary) shield for all your creatures.

But this seems like it doesn't fit :aether very well, as most of their creatures are already immaterial...

Mark cards do exist though. They actually exist where you can draw them from your deck and play them. You can only get them from winning a weekly tournament.

then lock the thread and allow only the polls to be done, if you dont wanna here peoples opinion
All i meant is if you don't like the idea, you should vote that in the poll. I'm didn't mean it as if I depreciate your opinion.
