Deck Help / Re: My rustler deck... good?
« on: December 19, 2010, 08:58:15 am »
I have an interesting suggestion based on a couple cards you already have in the deck.  You have the Staff and Adrenaline...you add 1 Animate/Flying Weapon, use it on the Staff, Adren it and get 20 life per turn, lol.  It is a bit situational, but it also works very well on Morning Glory to give you a hefty (indestructable) beatstick.

I agree that Miracle does pack a bit of a cost in the early game.  I only use it in my build when I use the FFQs since they can push out enough FFs to make it worth it.  Also, everyone pushed FFQ in this deck since every FF you have on the board produces a Light, the Dragon spits it into 2 Life, makes a new FF.  Your choice, ultimately, which path you go.

I'll edit this later with my version of the build as I flash player is buggy atm...

Rainbow Decks / Re: (almost) NON-UPGRADED False God Rainbow

@pkubighead:  In a sense you are correct.  HOWEVER you need to look at the fundamental mechanics of this game.  There are NO search cards.  There is only more draw power to get to what you need.  This is NOT Magic: The Gathering.  This is NOT Yu-Gi-Oh.  This is NOT (insert other card game here).  This is Elements. As such, we are limited by the games overall mechanics.  Survival against an opponent that basically cheats means having to match his draw power, slow down his assault, and dominate the board.  In almost every other game I have played I can cite hundreds of references where a solid control deck stopped every other deck built.  But yes, without search cards, it makes this combo limited.  If you want a simpler deck less reliant on luck, look up RoL/Hope.  If you want a tried and proven method by hundreds, designed by the forum moderator and played by thousands, feel free to build this one.  I know I did and am happy I spent the hard earned quantum.

Deck Help / Dark/Aether AI3 grinder, looking for guidance.
« on: December 10, 2010, 09:41:40 am »
So I found this idea floating around the Wiki, and since I am an absolute fan of both the feature cards of the deck, decided to put a version together.  Now I only have non-upped cards for it atm, and I am using it to farm AI3 with much success.  My questions I throw at the mercy of the forums are, are there any glaring weaknesses I should shore up, and what cards should i upgrade first to make this deck more efficient?

This deck wins probably 90-95% of my AI3 games, I just wish for more SPEED, lol

Help me out if you can...

Deck Help / FG Rainbow...that isn't killing FGs
« on: December 07, 2010, 10:34:24 am »
Can't tell if it my deck or my tactics, but some help would be awesome.  I am new to Elements, but NOT to ccgs as a whole.  (spent a lot of my life playing them all competitively so this is bothering me a LOT)  Right now it seems that all of my FG games come down to all luck when I win.  My win rate is somewhere around 5-10%.  I would like some help to maybe streamline this deck, or if there are any blatantly missing cards from a solid rainbow.  I know the Mindgate makes me Aether heavy, so I am considering dropping it, but I do prefer to make my opponent fight their own deck.

I am the kind of player that likes tempo control, and card advantage scenarios.  So like I said, if there is anything seriously missing from the formula, let me know.
