War Archive / Re: War #2 Building an Army - Slave Market
« on: June 17, 2010, 06:22:06 pm »
Gladiators were slaves  :P

There's really gonna be problems no matter what.  People will always have conflicting schedules due to different time zones, school, jobs, etc.  And in most things in todays world there are always people who try to take control or are given control based on experience.
I think the "buying" people adds a fun and unique twist to the war because of all of the effects it can have.

I'm in, altough I know that noone will pick me i will defintetly go for  :darkness or  :aether
More for darkness, tough
Why would you say no one would pick you?  Never doubt yourself.

I like the idea but i think the original idea is the best (also the name  :P).  I didnt read a couple posts(because some have been so long) so im not sure about all of the ideas but i think a few of them were made because people have an element they dislike.  If you don't like an element and youre afraid they might pick you then dont enter... easy solution.

Air / Re: In Development: Wings | Wings

Just a question, would a mono-air deck with wings, owls eyes, and flying weapons be awesome?

(owls eyes would kill anything able to get through the shield for easy win)
I made a deck like this and i have to say i didn't like it at all :/ this was the first idea that came into my head when i saw this card.  I'll post a pic tomorrow but the deck was
6 EE
6 flying weapon (upped or unupped doesnt matter)
3 wings (upped)
15 wind towers
mark of air

easy to use but i just dont like any flying weapon deck.

Round 2 / Re: implosion (light) 2 - Kurohami (life) 0

:o Damn don't mess with Gl1tch lol.  but i've gotta say he's right.  Life took a beating last round (and so did  :aether and  :entropy ) so they really were at a disadvantage.

One thing i have to say to Gl1tch though is: if you're still thinking about giving up your master position because of the war you shouldn't.  This is the first war so anything could have happened.  It's also only the 2nd round and its still possible to hang in there (depending on what you have in your vault :/ ) so don't give up based off of a first time thing.  Good luck to all the  :life guys

please correct me if i'm wrong
Zanz also said (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7549.msg92345#msg92345) that scarabs' swarm ability also counts as flying and that flying arsenics will probably have 2 passive abilities, airborn and poisonous. There is also a whole thread about which creatures have airborn:
"Airborn Creatures" (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7565.0.html)
:o i wanted to be the first one to say them lol... i knew they had to be posted somewhere. i also didnt read this entire thread because 9 pages is a lot :/

overall though i like the card but i hate it because i like  :earth lol

i thought this card would be really overpowered when i first saw it but i just went to the trainer to find out all the cards that can attack and there are a lot more than i thought.  please correct me if i'm wrong but these are the cards that can attack:

Any Flying Weapon
:entropy Purple Dragon and Maxwells demon
:death vulture, virus, and bone dragon
:gravity colossal dragon (i think armagio should have airborne)
 :earth stone dragon
:life Forest spirit, rustler, and emerald dragon
:fire phoenix, fire spirit, and crimson dragon
 :water ice dragon
:light guardian angel, photon, pegasus, golden dragon
:air firefly, firefly queen, azure dragon, wyrm, dragonfly
:time devonian dragon and deja vu
:darkness gargoyle, minor vampire, black dragon
 :aether phase dragon and spark

Duo-Decks / Re: Unupgraded AI3 Gargoyle Grinder
« on: June 06, 2010, 04:29:00 am »
Wow... you really put the "Drunk" in "DrunkDestroyer" when you posted this.  Creature control: Minimal/ineffective.  Permanent Control: Non-existent.  Speed: Slower than paint drying

Not surprisingly, I only won once out of at least ten times.  After that, I figured it wasn't worth the score and quanta to continue.  Maybe it would be alright against the SoD SoG farms if it could outlast them.  But nooo... it's thirty cards.  Why did I spend the electrum on this?
ok first of all:
creature control/permanent control: who cares... its for AI3. you really dont need control.
speed: it is a little slow but so is every other vampire deck ive played.  i think its more for fun than for grinding

2nd:
if you only won once you could be having really bad draws or you could just be bad :P and  you spent the electrum because you aren't smart enough to use the trainer to test a deck.  you dont have to be a dick when you comment on someones deck.

as for the deck i would take out both shields and add another gargoyle and a liquid shadow.  I'm not gonna test the deck but i think it is more than capable of taking out ai3.  upped version is very fun  :D

Fractal is a good/fun card but it definitely isn't overpowered... Icy 1 Dragonhuman 0

Dimensional Shield all the way  :P  its saved me more than any other card in this game

Darkness / New Gargoyle Deck
« on: May 30, 2010, 08:21:25 pm »
This deck was inspired by Artois' Gargoyle Vampires Deck.  I liked the idea of the vampire gargoyles but i wanted to make a few changes.

i didnt do any hardcore testing but i played about 20 games against ai3 just to see if it worked like i wanted it to and it worked perfectly.  i also played about 15 games against t50 and surprisingly won around 10 games. i took a few screenshots of the t50 games.  the first one was against a rainbow deck but i wasnt paying attention and hit the print screen button a little too late :/
