Duo-Decks / Re: Theo's Fractal Balls
« on: April 26, 2010, 03:35:12 pm »
Very similar to my Thunderbirds deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,4077.0.html), lol. It's quite fun, decently quick, and can stand up to quite a few decks, but alas, it's just not as good as the countless other decks out there. Still, it makes Death/Aether much more viable, and definately a higher tier combination.
Yea, it's a good deck that is decently quick. Usually it takes me a few turns to get the cards I need but then usually I can do 50dmg+ in 1 turn. As you said though it's just not as good as other decks out there.

Theo's Fractal... BALLS? This sounds a little bit.. umm... you get it :D
That was the point :p

A couple main points about this:

-Always keep 1 ball lightning in your hand
-Play all your ball lightnings first and then your condor(s) last, they will do much more damage this way

I know this deck has been posted before but mine is just slightly different.
Thats pretty much it, enjoy!!

My score is around 140k and I have only 1 nymph, auburn, and I spin every day. It's all luck, don't get your panties in a bundle and just deal with it. As was said before nymphs aren't even that amazing in decks, yea they can be helpful but they're not all that game breaking. Just live with it, if you spin one you spin one and if not you don't.

Duo-Decks / Re: Kind of a vampire rush deck
« on: April 10, 2010, 02:07:12 am »
If you're making a rush deck it either needs to be small (30cards) or have some type of drawing ability (hourglasses). A deck that size with no extra draws can't really be a rush.

The 6x bonewall is ridiculous for what it is, they cost way too much. For my speed poison deck I don't run ANY bonewalls because it slow the deck down a good bit and it is not nearly as fast as it could be. What I have is the same deck but w/ Physalia's instead, not too many people run shields that really make a difference and the little bit of extra damage does make a difference, I also have 6x congeal instead of 6x bonewall. I think this deck has been posted by somebody before.

Deck Help / Re: rainbow dev Drain life deck (still working on it)

4 Devourers are not enough to 'shut down quanta' And you can't rely on Fractals to help you out as even though your mark is aether.

Trio & Quartet / Re: Aether/Fire Fractal Fahrenheit Eaters
« on: April 03, 2010, 04:30:10 am »
I suggest taking out 2 Aether towers and adding 2 PU instead, will do wonders to control.
Other then that, I like the concept.
Fahrenheit, has always been my fav card.
I feel the 6 aether towers are needed. Even though you're ALWAYS guaranteed at least 1 tower at the beginning you don't want to be waiting 8 turns every time to be able to play a fractal (or 9 if you don't have the cash to throw down on upgrading them). With 5 towers you usually don't get that many during the game. You might be able to take 1 out and replace it with something.

This deck will be really vulnerable to an early oty. I suggest adding a few lightnings to kill off the unquinted ones.
The fire lances are enough for that almost all the time.

Been messing around with this in the trainer tonight and made it on my actual account, it's a lot of fun to play. It almost always works even with only 5 towers. You can survive with only have 1 tower in your hand which is ALWAYS going to happen now due to mulligan. It's also really easy to play. If you have any comments or ways to make it better please share!

I find that fractals are better when upgraded even though it's only a decrease of 1 in the cost, if you can afford it DO IT! Sometimes fire lances and explosions can just clutter your hand, just use them to get rid of them sometimes, you'll figure it out easily.

You can play an brimstone eater 2nd turn 95% of the time and from there you gain fire quanta that way (nothing you have needs a lot of fire quanta).

In-game Troubleshooting / Re: Wrong Password??
« on: March 20, 2010, 07:05:38 pm »
I decided that I'm just going to let this happen as I don't want to be a part of a game that just randomly bans (i'm guessing thats what happened to me) players. I had almost 6 of every weapon and a couple of nymphs and here I am, now banned.....fuck this.
