Issue Archive / Pvp1 bug [unconfirmed]

Whenever I play pvp1, I connect up to the random person, then in the first or second turn, they let the CPU take over, and there is no sign of a desync.

This has happened five times - anyone got any idea what's happening?

Why don't the rules just state:

No cards may be removed or added from the actual FG deck with the exception of nymphs and pillars.You may remove nymphs from the FGs deck but not add any.You may use any combination of pillars and/or pendulums.

This way noone is hamstrung with a need to "stay true" to the FG despite the FG's obviously different play conditions.  It also allows players a little leeway in deckbuilding which will help players feel less locked into a deck they would otherwise alter.

What do you think Thelonesun?  And everybody else?

This seems good.

I added those rules to the rule list and took out some.

Also, this tourney needs to get official.

Word up.  Can a Mod please move this over to PVP Events?  I'll offer assistance in running the event itself, writing up formal rules, etc.

I never expected this... o.o

That would be pretty nice, though.

I'll take Dream Catcher as no one want to take it and I've all the cards

but not like the FG, it's quite week since most of the cards only have 1-2 copies. Can I modify it to increase the copies of some cards such as quint?

and what's the time for the tournament? I'm not sure if I will be free at that time.

why not use photons instead? the RoL's may help the opponent... 8)

This guy has a point. If you are actually planning on using this deck, you should switch them out for Photons.

Dream catcher had the antimatter change because it was possible, not to dark matter because there can't be a seventh black hole. If you have the nymph to play dark matter, stick it in.

And I don't care about you playing Dream Catcher, rasta. Stay with whatever you took

For the fire lance sudden killer, you can replace the fahrenheit with a longsword and it will work pretty much the same.

- Did you mean to use it against false gods?

Now I have enough money to upgrade one card. Such a tough choice! Ideally this should be a card that helps in both getting more money (AI3) and a part of FG deck.

1. Yes, FGs.
2. Upgrade a nova, they play a huge part in many different decks, FG killers and AI3 grinders alike.

Fire lance sudden killer is a good place to start for getting upgraded cards..

Works with no upgrades, so don't worry. Replace the shards with fire towers if you don't have them. If you play against a god with a reflective shield, play it over a phase shield if you plan to kill them that turn.

Once you get enough to upgrade six rays of light, upgrade them, and then build this sans all the upgrades except rays of light. (this is what I currently use )
