My deck, which reached first place in the gold arena but is now 9 days old just got a win on 1hp xD

I imagine that was pretty sensational for whoever was playing agaisnt it!

May be a late post, but I'm glad to see a water deck with a water mark reached so high in the rankings! Makes a change from all the fire/entropy decks...

Another thing is some of the most popular decks vs arena are Rainbow rush and Fire rush.

If people also put up these types of decks IN arena, then they will probably win versus players own rushes which don't have the extra advantages.

Rushes are notoriously weak on quanta production so all my arena decks have packed some rewinds/blackholes/earthquakes etc.

I've only been 1st in gold leage twice and 2nd, twice

This is what I used to hit Rank 1 in Gold a couple of weeks back.

Max HP, 30 upgrades, 1x mark, double draw
Card: Ghost of the Past - 4 were upgraded but I only have 2 upgraded at the moment.

As my hp decreased over time, I added the SoD as I went along though to give me a mini boost back up there

I assume you're talking about gold league?

The competition is almost too fierce in it which is why you can drop out after so few losses. Perhaps a new league needs to be created to split gold league in half and lighten the load.

Eladrial was top of silver league and obviously recently gained enough score to join gold league. Consequently, there's now no way anyone can take that top spot from him unless he makes a new deck, considering he's amassed so much comparably easier rating in silver league.

Consider how frustrating this is for me who has been looking forward to taking that top spot only to have it unfairly taken out of my reach. -.-

Anyone in the top 25 of silver can come to gold and instantly take the top spot and hold it... Sorta makes the competition pointless if they can do that.

Genuinous had a good suggestion - decks are sorted into leagues when they are made and cannot change until a new deck is built.

It's a no-brainer; yes.

Death is fairly random in the world anyway so in the grand scheme of things, it won't make any difference. Plus, given our ageing populations, there's a pretty good chance the person in question will already be reasonably old and have lived a decent life. If not, if the rewards are as good as you say they are, I for one would be willing to be the random stranger as I'm sure (hope) would many others.

Alternatively, if you say I can do whatever I want with it, I'd also use it to research bringing people back to life.

Bronze, silver and Platinum all have about the same rating for their top decks, but the competition is much fiercer in Gold which is why the highest ratings are so low. This sorta annoys me more considering I've had to work against a larger competition only to get beaten by someone who switched.

Eladrial could lose the next 30 battles in gold and still hold the top spot...
I'm sure his deck is great having held the silver spot as well, but taking the gold spot in this way too is REALLY cheap...

I've had my sights set on that top spot for the past few days and now someone shifts from Silver to Gold taking their significantly-easier-to-accumulate rating with them.
This looks like a problem to me as literally anyone in the top 25 in Silver could level up to gold and instantly take and hold the top spot...

The rank calculations should update when you change league. 

Seriously annoyed that my thunder has been so unfairly stolen.
Yes. I just got owned.

Hopefully something can be done about it as it will almost definitely happen again in the future.

I was just wondering whether deck income remains constant over all arena decks.

I get 5 electrum per win in gold and was wondering if this is the same for all levels. Or does rank influence it too?
