Rather than guessing precisely which deck Higs / Eva will bring, we should try to put each of them on a range of decks.  Then, we just pick the combination of our own decks which fares best against that range.

- can get 4 x nova, 1 x QP and construct a bow?

    Expected dim shield, but kinda hoped I could outrush it and brought this instead of pulverizer deck.  I lost to a wonky dim shield, CP, scarab, pulverizer, toadfish deck  (managed to stop his damage but dim shield chain finished me).

    I brought pulverizer to kill his dim shields.  He brought a similar rush, but upgraded dragons made the difference.  Got him down to 2hp instead of dead, but this is neither horseshoes nor hand grenades.  Oh, first try at game 2 was an early desynch which I likely would have lost as well.

    All I can say here is that at least I managed to make him sweat it out a bit.  I never got enough :earth to play a pulverizer and did not have enough :light to play all my sanctuaries.

    Lol, this event really helped :underworld. Now they are even more unpredictable.
    Fixed your post.  Getting 1 copy of a different card doesn't really help build a new deck for a mono or a duo ... obviously helps out a rainbow, though.  This should make the war more interesting for the last few rounds!

    The event card may actually not change people's decks too much except for UW.  Adding 12 different cards to vaults will just increase card totals but not really add strategies for the non-UW teams.  This does allow us to salvage cards from our win last round (we could grab 5 wings and 1 OE, then use event card to add another OE and a flying weapon for example).

    Here are my recommendations for the 12 different cards:
      Flesh SpiderMummyBone DragonSkull ShieldBone WallArsenicPlaguePoisonEarth pendulumTitanium ShieldOwl's EyeFlying Weapon
    The last two can be changed if we decide to salvage something different (or nothing at all).

    Given the likelihood of pestal in at least one of the matchups, it may not be right to salvage wings, but at least we have some luxury to test.  The event card next round may be useful as well ... hopefully reinforcements???  (more spiders = win!)
