Introduce Yourself / Let's Try This Again
« on: December 08, 2011, 04:08:13 am »
Hey guys, highly doubtful anyone remembers me from the 2 months or so I was active (more in chat than here, but whatever), but somehow I got pulled back into this game. I dunno how much posting I'll do, but I'll be lurking and I thought I'd say hi.

As for my Elements career, I have a FG deck (that apparently still works against the old-school FG's, and occasionally against the others), I did ok in the first (and last?) all unupped, mono color tournament (there may have been a 4-of limit, I don't remember), and a decent collection of cards.

Well, that's it. Hi again!

*scurries off to figure out what's changed*

Anytime. I can give an equally fair review of all the other ones:

They stink.

You're welcome ;)

Clearly, #6 is far and away the best. Clearly done under 5 minutes and clearly awesome. No contest.

Rainbow Decks / Re: Killing Gods Just Takes Some Time

I may try a variation of this, I'm getting frustrated with the small decks (it could just be me).

Some things I would think of are:

Using commas. Helpful guide here: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/607/02/

Removing the supernovas. While it is definitely a good card, I am not convinced of its usefulness in larger decks. Regardless, 3 in a deck this size means you will almost never get it when you need it, and it is a dead card. Easy removal, in my opinion.

I, personally, would add some hourglasses, maybe 2. I'm a bit perplexed at how few people play around here, its one of the most powerful cards in the game. You need them pretty early, methinks, and 4 would make it much more useful/usable.

If you are into fire shield, go for. I haven't tried it, but I can't imagine it is that great. But its your call.

Nice work! Let us know how it goes.

Lol, you guys. I took the full time for mine, and it really shows. 45 seconds... No wonder the quality is so low...

BEHOLD!

I decided to take a more abstract approach, trying to really capture the essence of my card, and not so much the form. Whimsical, yet serious. Ferocious, yet approachable.

Man, lot of food-snobs on here. You know, its ok to go for a bowl of ramen every now and then...

Also, Sirloin steak is is for peasants. Give me a rib-eye any day, blackened, medium-rare. Season to taste, keep steak sauce far, far away.

(I can name-drop food too)
