Aye I would second that.. the oty doesnt see much use i think and i have been tinkering with replacing him. The flayer seems to deal with creatures long enough for you to win, plus he comes out much earlier as well with his reduced casting cost.

I'v been using it for a little while tonight. I find that when there are a large percentage of rainbow decks it's definatly better to take this over some of my other quicker decks. Obvious I guess, but a great option seeing as the top50 isn't always the same 50 decks. Will keep you posted as i play more.

i did a mix of everything, and my uped cards so far..

2 pillars/druid/bonewall/graveyard/otys/elite queen/hourglasses/2 sundials/2 phase shields

whats next?

tks in advance.
Don't upgrade Sundials. They're worse upgraded because they require :light :light to draw.
I'd attest to this. Also, it seems that with the cost being reduced to 0 to put them out, i found after upgrading a few i often started the game with some terrible hand, like 0 towers and 2 sundials. I'v been told this is due to the auto mulligan, but i don't know the specifics of it so i'm not 100% sure about that.

I can attest to the usefulness of this deck. It's certainly a fun break from playing a long complicated rainbow against them. I wonder how many other mono/dual element decks there are out there that can be tuned to do well ( or even okish would be profitable) against the false gods. not specifically to be the most profitable out there, but anything that makes a little cash would be fun.

edit: also i noticed you posted the deck slightly differently to how i believe bish uses it:

+1 explosion
+3 firestorm

General Discussion / Re: PVP quitting etiquette

Maybe in future versions a function could be added that lets you offer some kind of surrender.. would stop you having to play on against an opponent who quits and would save everyone time :)

Ok, played my ten games. Results:

Played: 10
Won 7 ( 6 EM)
Lost 3
Winnings 407 coins, 3 cards (21 spins total)
Time 23 minutes (average 2 minutes 20 seconds)

More Detail:

Deck Types:
rainbow - won 6 lost 1
earth rush - won 0 lost 1
life rush - won 0 lost 1
farms - won 1

RoF didn't ever kill anything by the time it got cast (they were either too pumped, or FFQ).
Having Pulveriser stolen didn't seem to do much.
didn't have much problem with shields due to steal.
Rush decks owned me pretty heavily.
Getting out the flayer before the opponent gets an oty is awesome, but if you dont, i could save up my creatures in hand then lay them all for the win.

I'v tried novas and supernovas but for me i didn't feel like they sped the deck up. Upgrading the towers speeds it up loads, until then i guess you will just get spanked occasionally when your deck is asleep and being slow :p

1. Quantum Tax // 3. Quantum Theft :: :aether
Target stack of pillars gives you and your opponent quanta, 50/50 split.
Lasts 2 turns?
I like the idea of more of these kinds of things.. stuff for you to screw with the opponent without outright just blowing stuff up. some kind of quantum theft would also sync well with pests and such :)

This might come in handy for you guys working on this.. I'v been working on a spreadsheet that shows probabilities of card drawing depending on your deck, and quanta curves (like, a deck setup like x will produce this much on average, and use this much on average). It might help some way to fixing up your QI.

I don't believe that assigning flat values to cards in decks can be used in this way.. decks have different aims and speeds, but i think by marrying up a curve of what you expect to use against what can be produced might help you to go some way towards working out ideal tower numbers.
