I just gave up on killing seism and rainbow, I just quite against them. This is making my farming quite faster and profitable :D

Skipping tough Gods is a good strategy if you want to make your grinding more efficient.

What I hate about Rainbow is that he is the only False God that can defeat you after mid-game. He's dangerous all the way to the end because he draws so many cards every turn.

Btw if you want to modify your deck so that Rainbow and Seism are easier, take 3 Protect Artifacts. These help A LOT against those two guys and also Hermes and Graviton. The downside is that Scorpio and some other will be a bit harder since you will basically have 3 useless cards in your deck.

I'm not new to the concept of forums :) I understand the importance of having one thread for each topic. But like I already PM'd to Pilchard, all my threads had basically a different topic.

First thread was my proof of having killed all False Gods with elemental mastery using the same deck (with screenshots included). Second thread was where I revealed my deck. And the third was where I talked about how to beat False Gods using this deck, and also how to beat False Gods with other rainbow decks.

I believe the first one should have its own thread because it has 12 big pictures. Adding other two threads to it would make it difficult to read. After all I'm writing on a forum, I'm not writing a book.

Now the last 2 could easily be combined but I didn't know on which forum I should do it. You see we have a "Decks" forum and a "False Gods" forum in different places. In which one would it belong? It is a deck so maybe "Decks"? On the other hand, it talks about strategy against False Gods so maybe "False Gods" would be better? See my problem?

Like I suggested Pilchard, it would be better if we had a forum where people could post only False God builds and strategies. This way if a newbie was looking to kill some False Gods, he would find all the information in one place.

It still amazes me how unlucky a rainbow deck can be. Today I lost 4 times to incarnate because no freaking shields would come up OR my quantum pillars just wouldn't generate death/aether quanta... absolutely ridiculous
That's weird. You must be the unluckiest guy in the world :) Like I've said, I've only lost to Incarnate once, and even in that game I got Phase Shield just as I was about to die. But then I forgot to put it on and DID die :)

Incarnate is so easy because there's so many ways of surviving against him. Rain of Fire, chaining Sundials, stealing Boneyards, Phase Shield, Bone Wall, Otyughs, Eagle's Eye.. usually when you get even 1-2 of these, Incarnate can't touch you.

How many cards do you have in your deck? If you have 60, try making the deck smaller. It helps a lot.

Once again, thank you Scared.
All very helpful information.

One thing that really annoys me:
The amount of times I've lost to Incarnate.
I know he's easy.
... I see him, and go, alright! EZ win!!!
then I get the worst draw in history and get stomped.

Grr...
Hehe.. yeah that sucks :) Luckily it only happened to me once. I had a horrible draw. In the end I probably would have survived but then I forgot to put Phase Shield on.

If you keep losing to him a lot maybe you should change your strategy? I find the best way to deal with Incarnate is just to wait patiently until you get a bunch of characters and Rain of Fire, then storm in and kill everyone.

Also if he has Graveyards up and you cannot steal them, first kill Skeletons to limit his damage. Those guys hit hard when there are many of them.

1. Miracle with upgraded Sundials is a suicide. Atm I only have 2 Supernovas (and 4 normal), but in early-mid game i'm rarely at more than 10 Light quanta, while if I survive the mid and start to control I don't need another heal.

2. If you have problems with Scorpio or Morte add 1 Purify: after I added it my chances (yes i'm keeping track of all my games since i made this deck) went from 20% to 100% for Morte and from 15% to 80% against Scorpio (I did only 8 and 10 games against those after the add though). Sure adding a card makes it harder against faster decks like Hermes, Gemini and Rainbow, but atm (my deck is not yet fully upgraded) i think it's worth: Gemini is usually not a problem, while Rainbow and Hermes f*ck me pretty bad almost always anyway.
You shouldn't upgrade Sundials. Cost of 2 white quantum for each extra card draw is too much early in the game. Sundials work much better as unupgraded.

I did try a variation where I had mark of Light and upgraded Sundials. But it didn't work as as well as mark of Time with unupgraded Sundials.

What would you guys think about adding another Miracle into this deck?
I have only one so I cannot test it. 2 Miracle's might help against Scorpio but sometimes you get killed before you have time to collect that 12 white quantum needed. Especially if you use Sundials.

Try it.
Tried it for a few games against Lvl 3s and gods. Doesn't do THAT much difference. But it is good to have a backup. And there was only one time I used both of them... But I'm gonna keep both of them on my deck. I could try 3 or 4 miracles too but I think that would be a bit too much so I'll just stick with 2.
Yeah I think 3-4 Miracles would be a bit too much. :)

Biggest problem with Miracle is that it uses white quantum. If a False God starts aggressively, you might not be able to collect that 12 quantum needed before he kills you. Especially if you use Sundials early on. I've lost matches where I have had miracle in hand but I had 10-11 white quantum. That is so annoying.

interesting... can you lobotomize/mutate/eat a frozen creature?
You can damage (Eagle's Eye etc.) and lobotomize a frozen creature. I'm not sure if you can eat them and I'm pretty sure you cannot mutate them.

EDIT: You CAN eat frozen creatures and probably also mutate them.

Scaredgirl why the lava golem seems like a waste to me, or does it have any strat value?why not ad a healling card or up the hp for your ot?
You are right. Lava Golem is the only character that doesn't do anything for defense, and like anyone who has played this deck knows, early lack of defense is where you usually lose.

I have him because..

1. Cheap cost. Unupgraded version costs only 4 fire quantum which enables you to get him on the table fast. There's only another Fire card in this deck (Rain of Fire) so total cost of fire quantum is only 9 which is manageable. Also upgrading Fire Golem uses earh quantum which I have have tons to spare and have never ran out.

2. Kills Gods faster. If played early or mid-game, he brings a lot more damage to this deck, which also prevents decking out against Miracle and Rainbow, and makes fighting other Gods faster.

3. Variation. I like to have many different characters. Kind of like the best of the best from all 12 elements. Right now I have 3 Otyughs because they are so vital against many Gods. All other characters I only have 1 because I'm looking for variation.

4. Can't find a better cards to replace him. I would love to add another healing card like you suggested but there isn't any. Taking a third Feral Bond don't make much sense because green is already in high usage. Other elements either have no good cards to replace him or there isn't enough quantum to go around. Second Mind Flayer would probably be on ok choice but he does use Aether quantum and there's less variation that way.

At one point I had already removed Lava Golem but I gave him another chance. He's doing pretty well, especially if you have a chance to buff him up with Heavy Armor.

I'm also testing Freeze (or Congeal) because it's from Water (low quantum usage), it's cheap (1 quantum), and I could remove the most annoying enemy from the game for 4 rounds. So far it's looking great. It has saved me from death a couple of times but more testing is needed before I can really say if it works or not.

that seems like a very powerful deck!!! I was working on buying one of your other decks but now im gonna sell all the cards i bought for this deck :D. Could you post the winning rate percentage against gods soon?

Oh man.. I hope you didn't sell those cards already :)

I wasn't clear enough. While I have beaten most of the False Gods with this deck, I usually lose. This is not the best Anti-False God deck. Winning percentage is below 50%. If you are looking to grind False Gods, this is probably not the deck to do it. My other deck is much more effective in that.

For example Scorpio is very difficult and Miracle is close to impossible. I just decked out against Miracle 2 minutes ago. I had 100+ damage on the table but the b****** used Improved Miracle 4 times. If I had 2 more cards I would have beat him.

I made some changes to make it more effective against False Gods (like taking Miracle and Eagle's Eye) but it's way too random to get consistent results.

But if you don't mind a lower winning percentage, you can grind with this one too. Good thing is that all the matches are short and it's fun to kill a False God in less than 10 turns :)

Instant Win Rainbow Deck

Level 3 version
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u1 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 718 745 77g 77g 7ah 7ah 7dj 7dj 7jv 7n5 7q5 7q5 7t7 7t7 80a 80a

Use this deck to fight level 3 guys. This deck is all about damage because you don't need any defense to beat level 3 guys. Simple, fast and effective.

top-50/PvP version
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u1 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 71b 745 77g 77g 7ah 7ah 7dj 7dm 7dm 7jv 7n5 7q5 7q5 7t9 7t9 80a 80a

Use this to fight top-50 or PvP. This one has a little bit of defense and permanent removal cards. It has one less Quantum Pillar. If you feel you need more, just Steal one from your opponent. If you have Miracle, I suggest you take it instead of Blessing. You could also take Otyugh instead of Elite Charger.

This deck is all about SPEED.

The goal is to collect quantum fast using Supernovas. Then play cheap cards from all elements, while at the same time trying to shut down any attacks by your enemy. Win or lose, the match is usually over in under 10 turns.

I used the same basic formula I always use when doing rainbow decks. I took some cards from 12 different elements while trying to keep quantum usage as balanced as possible. This way I can play cards fast before the opponent has time to build his defenses.

I used ENTROPY as my mark because this allows me to play Supernovas at turn 2 or 3.

I have tested this deck against level 3 AI and have never lost. Seriously. Top-50 is also very easy. PvP might be a bit more difficult depending on what your opponent is running.

TIPS:
- I'm pretty sure you could play this as non-upgraded as well but you need to change your mark to Time and possibly take a third Hourglass
- Use Thunderbolts to kill annoying enemies OR attack the opponent to finish him off
- Steal any weapons he might use against you.

That's it. This is a pretty easy deck to play. Have fun!

Rainbow Decks / Another god farming deck. I will not call it ULTIMATE :)
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:34 pm »

Lol you're like a politician trying to spin the numbers in your advantage :)

You took this 1 Sundial after 10 cards because it's the only number that makes your deck look better (after some rounding up). What about all those OTHER numbers? :)

1 Sundial after 10 cards is not the magical formula with which to beat the Gods. I never said you have to have 1 Sundial to win the game. The more Sundials you get early in the game, the better. Your tables shows that with 54 cards, there's a higher chance of getting 3-4 Sundials during the first 20 cards which is the most important part of the battle.

This discussion is useless. When logic fails, I move on. :)

My final words on this subject are.. a better chance is a better chance even if the difference is tiny.
