I think Rage Elixirs are pretty good - remember, they double as creature control.

General Discussion / 666 score

What's the been the weirdest/coolest score/electrum number that you've hit?

I've recently started playing again, and I just hit 666.  :P

Deck Help / Re: A Basic Gravity/Life Deck for AI3/AI4 Farming
« on: November 30, 2011, 03:27:47 am »
The strategy is kind of all over the place.

Why do you need quantum pillars? You only use 4 of the elements, most of your quanta would be wasted.
What are the boneyards for? Skeletons just clog up your field, and at 1|1, they don't do much. If AI plays a shield, they become obsolete.

I suggest you just stick with either gravity, or a life/water deck. They don't have much synergy together.

Do a life deck with a water mark, to power your forest spirits. If you want CC, take some freezes.

What is the general strategy of the deck? Was it made for PvP?

I was more thinking something along the lines of this.
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vo 4vo 4vo 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5uo
This deck has way too less damage to be effective, and not enough defense to pack it up. Devourers are kind of useless in this deck, and there's quanta imbalance.  Especially if you want to use the butterfly effect. You'll also probably either have too little or too much darkness. Way too prone to bad draws. Overall, this deck would have a much lower win rate than my deck.

Butterfly effect is really best once you upgrade your abominations - but at that point you can switch to mono-entropy.

If you're going to keep the steals, you might as well use pendulums so you can fuel your :darkness. Or devourers.
Have you tested this deck? I've never had a problem with the darkness quanta. I've tweaked the deck a bit more, though, so that it's a bit more efficient. What do you think of the updated version?

A discord or vampire stilleto would be better than the dagger. Not sure about those two steals since you're already going to need your :darkness for the lycanthropes and the steals are quite costly at 4 :darkness. I also don't really see the point of pandemonium, so you can remove that.
Yeah, once you get a vampire stiletto or discord, replace the dagger with it. This is really only what I just started with. The steals are necessary, because if the AI plays a fire/gravity shield then you're going to need one.
It does cost a lot, but there's going to be excess darkness quanta and you can always play your abominations while you wait for your darkness quanta to gather.
Pandemonium is actually quite useful, IMO, but you could have a point - would replacing it with maxwell's demon be better?

Edit: I'm not sure if removing pandemonium is a good idea. Just had a game where they placed 3 dune scorpions, and then pandemonium lightninged one and lobotomized the other two xD
Besides, there's always antimatter for hard hitters, so maxwell's demon isn't required either.

Duo-Decks / Entropy/Darkness [AI3]
« on: November 25, 2011, 10:13:57 pm »
This deck isn't very fast, but it has a decent win ratio and it's relatively fun to play.
I've played AI3 10 times and I haven't lost a single game yet.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4t3 4tc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vn 4vn 4vp 5up 5v1 8pt

Strategy: Play your creatures whenever you can, if you think they might have creature control play your lycans along with your abominations. Save your steal for these cards: lobotomizer, gravity shield and owl's eyes. If the enemy doesn't have one of the following, use your steal to your own discretion. You only have 1. Nightmare your abominations (unless they have entropy quanta to play it) to annoy or as a type of last-hitting damage. Use pandemonium if the enemy's field is overwhelming you (huge amounts of scarabs, fireflies or otyughs) and antimatter dragons or blessed creatures.

Feedback is welcome.

Get a win streak from one of the arena leagues and you will get a free rare card spin.

If you don't think you can get a win streak, than level 3 AI is your best bet.

You sometimes get rare weapons from Oracle too, but don't count on it.

General Discussion / Re: How many websites is Elements on?
« on: November 23, 2011, 04:56:03 pm »
Why did zanz post it on kongregate and mofunzone only?
Is there a large player-base on those two sites compared to others?
Can we suggest sites for him to post the game on? Or is he not planning to do so?

Deck Help / Re: Mono-Light - Tackling Level 3s
« on: November 23, 2011, 04:08:34 am »
Would a deja vu + blessing deck work better? Not sure how to arrange the pendulums for that, though. Seems like a decent combination. Multiple 4/4 deja vus with luciferin and hope, with reverse time as control.

Additional question: does healing from multiple sanctuaries stack?

Have you tried it with nova time mark and dejavu?
I'unno, mono limits the options too much if you want original/high winrate IMO. Could go flying glories in that case I guess. Boring pegasus rush works as always.

If you go duo you could do silly things such as Dejahope, RAngels, and various light/dark combos along with the whole gamut of crusader decks which there are plenty of.
I'd like to make a duo, but I suck at quantum balance when it comes to duos and I can never keep a deck to 30 words, could someone post an example of a dejahope?
Also what's RAngels?

Why the novas?
Does it work effectively against AI3?
