Quite the battle. I thought we had this as he was struggling to get quanta to evolve his graboids. I will try harder next time. My opponent was a valiant combatant and worthy of this victory.

4 scarabs on turn 1 happens pretty often, though I use a better version of this deck. It's quite a fun concept in any case.

Swap the mark, add a rewind (or two) and more SoRs. Get rid of the useless gravity cards. Should be a lot better.

@Jangoo: since the release, you take damage each time you play a shard. Before the nerf it was 32. You wanted 4 turns of protection? You have to take 64. It's still the case now, but with 40 damage.

On a side note, the nerf did nothing to balance the card. It's still too strong. I'm still 1st in platinium just because I play 6 of them in my deck with some poison cards. Not even hard. Most of the decks out there can't deal with the shard. It's a win condition and it deserves a real nerf (like a change in the core mechanic).
Oh, ok. So why was it better to play them all at once instead of chaining them again?
Two turns of protection meant you'd get far more hp back than you lost so you'd be able to take an unshielded turn of damage and still have 40+ hp. It didn't hurt that AI would throw spells/more creatures at SoSa to help out in that endeavor either.

Indeed, especially since they basically know our entire vault and we're severely lacking salvage to mix things up this round. Those rewinds would have been really nice.

Oh well, we'll see how things turn out but 0-2 is definitely possible.
