General Discussion / Re: Max hp experiment
« on: August 13, 2010, 03:52:02 am »
There is a theoretical maximum on HP, actually.

If Zanz used unsigned int variables (presumably 4 bytes), it should be the decimal equivalent of 11111111111111111111111111111111. In other words, about 4 billion if I did my math right. If he used a normal int, it would be about half that. Also plausible is the unsigned int taking 2 bytes, which gives 1111111111111111, aka 2^16 - 1, or about 65 thousand. If we're lucky, it's just 32 thousand or so. If we're not, he used an unsigned long long. I don't know about flash, but in C++ that has a max of 17 quintillion or so.

I reccomend Stone Skin.

***INSERT RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF RUBY/MASSIVE DRAGONS HERE*** + This + Gravity Force + Ball Lightning + Quintessence

Power the quint off a few aether pends, use a large number of grav pillars/pends, fire mark. I feel it could work.

I should make it clear that N for the cost of Dive is adjusted immediately after Dive is used.

Every combo I can think of so far feels balanced. I've spent about 25 minutes just now going through all the combos I could think of that might be overpowered, and they all work better going a different route (usually be just having 6 of them or using fractal). Poison is way too expensive compared to having 6 Chrysaoras and improved poisons, growth costs a lot compared to growing multiple creatuers/playing more cards, etc. etc.
Thanks. I thought of the card when I saw Rustler/Leaf Dragon's ability but knew there was no way it would be fair without increasing the ability cost. It should be like any ideal card, viable, but not always the best option.

With SoR, I realized this could easily be a Shard, and a few days ago I put together a cohesive thought, and then saw the contest and figured, "Why the hell not?"

The only major problems were "Alacrity" not being on the list and "Industriousness" losing the last 's' in planplan's generator.

True. I'll tweak it a little.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: COMBINATION EFFECT
« on: August 12, 2010, 04:57:21 pm »
Procedurally generated cards would be pretty sweet, and a possibility to use relics:
Electrum + unupped relic + 2 unupped cards = Unupped procedurally generated cards
Upped relic could mean you can make an upped PGC.
I can just imagine Ruby + Massive dragons.

Shouldn't this be in game suggestions and feedback, though?

Note: Industriousness is available if you aren't using Planplan's generator (came out as "Shard of Industriousnes"). I took "Endurance" instead.

WHne you change your deck, always change your mark to what you need to. Playing mono-death rush? Time Mark from SG's unupped rainbow. Got an easy god? Shoot, I forgot to change back to Mark of Time.
