Here ya go; a half-blood  competition (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,34573.msg466270#msg466270) :)

(It's over, mind you; but there's some ideas in there.)

Isn't Chaos Power's minimum buff +1/+1, not +0/+0?
[...]
-SoR + Fate Egg = one hatch, 2 creatures at once; SoR + Deja Vu = castable 2x, loses skill at second use
Not now, Deja Vu only creates one copy. Fate Egg still creates 2 creatures
[...]
-Chaos Power's buff range is between  +0|+0 and +5|+5 and favors hp over attack
Where have you read that Chaos Power favors hp over attack ?
-Butterfly Effect and Mitosis causes summoning sickness to the target creature
I tried it and can falsify that. If you use Mitosis or Butterfly Effect on a creature , which shouldn´t have summoning sickness (2nd turn), it can use the skill immediately
[...]
Stand corrected. Twice. Like a boss. To whoever read my huge wall of text, listen to the corrections, they're right  :D :D

>on the dejavu, that's a pretty sad change :|
>yea, chaos power's minimum is +1|+1, it'd be pointless if you can get +0|+0, chaos power's hp>attack is pretty noticeable if you try buffing a spark/gemfinder a few times..
not totally sure about it, but it seems like that's the case
>sorry about mitosis, but the BE, i'm still pretty unsure if AI just doesn't use it OR it really causes summoning sickness..

once again, thank you for pointing out errors  :-* :-*
Could anyone please explain me what summoning sickness is? O_O
The state where your creatures cannot activate abilities which require manual activation on the turn they are played/summoned.  Examples:  Otyugh, Lycanthrope, Forest Spirit cannot activate their abilities on the turn they are played.
I thought no creature can do it, except of course if you use SoR.
You'd be right; however, there are exceptions to summoning sickness.  Mutants being the primary example, even though that only applies if their predecessor did NOT use an ability that turn.

Certain alchemy cards, like Butterfly Effect and (I think) Mitosis, can 'avoid summoning sickness' as well, if used on a creature that has NOT used an ability already AND if the creature wasn't immediately summoned (mutants, again, if they haven't used an ability, I believe can use said alchemy cards that turn... although I'm not sure why you'd use the alchemy card on a mutant :P )

Passive abilities, like Vampire/Venom/Neurotoxin/Quanta-Generation/etc., are exempt from summoning sickness because they are not manual triggered.

General Discussion / Re: Low arena deck plays related to online activity?
« on: January 10, 2012, 08:58:33 pm »
What willing said. :)  I've had my arena deck (albeit only once) get 10 or more wins/losses when I was offline (about 10-11 hours); while I'm online, I've gotten as low as 1 play to up to 7 plays.  The random nature of the Arena, while fickle, is the Judge, Jury, and Executioner of which arena decks get played, and which ones don't... if that makes sense. :P

That and the number of people who are farming the Arena helps too.

You should be able to give rep now; I noticed that I could once I hit 30 posts. :)  Look for the Electrum below one's avatar.

As for the OP, well... I can't comment about it now, because I haven't had a reason to use it. :P

Aye, many thanks Zblader. :)

So... I'm supposed to put everything into some sort of last resort?  Definitely not something I'd normally do. :P

I got Fire Bolt for my Oracle Card on New Years Day. :)  I thought it was silly that the Oracle wants me to start the year off by making the deck that got me to #1 in the Gold Arena previously. :P

What was the Oracle's description for Fire Bolt again?  I don't remember what it is.

I don't really play  :air but I don't want to give away something; if it's THAT Rare?
Help?  :-\
It's not really a matter of whether you play cards of a specific Element frequently; it's a matter of IF you'll ever play/need the card at some point.  And, to be honest, you'll likely need EVERY card at some point in time; because there's bound to be a deck type/card you'll wanna try out.  *points at Rutarete's personal text*

Keep the Owl's Eye; you'll be mad at yourself later if you sell it.

Light / Re: What is your favourite light card?
« on: December 30, 2011, 02:40:06 am »
My vote for this one was rather simple; it's the card I never leave home without:

:light MIRACLE :light

If there's a Light card in the game that DOES shed light in the darkness, it's this card.  Going from the edge of defeat to suddenly winning the game is a feeling that never gets old. :)  Not to mention this + Heal = insta-EM.

It is beyond any doubt that this card is worth spending all your Light quanta on.  There's also the part where I couldn't stress enough how many times this card saved me from losing matches; whether I got out-rushed, never got the card(s) I needed/wanted, or just did something completely silly. :P  This card is always in my Rainbow deck, and I'd be an absolute fool to take it out.

Honorable mentions go to Archangel and Blessing; because those, too, are awesome cards. 8)
