wouldn't it be better to let the carapace kill the cells so condor gets more attack (75% poisoned and your shards will keep you healed + they'll keep duplicating for more attack)
Idea is wait until FGs side is filled with cells, then improved plague kill cells/few creatures (rewind one just before plague). Alfatoxin is mostly for damage control, but maybe it's not that important card. If I use unupgraded shield, I must always play alfatoxin before shield (and wait few turns). I think it's bad idea and very luck depend.

One way to make cell factory is using unstoppable to first cell (in case unupgraded shield shines).

-4 time pillars
-1 gravity pillar
+2 aether pillar
+2 hourglass
+1 black hole or +1 quantum pillar (anti-rainbow or anti-devourer)
mark to gravity

Destroying single gravity pillar (or gravity pillar is last card) your scarabs only do some damage. If eatings is not that important goal keep original deck.

Deck Help / Spine Carapace + Alfatoxin + Condor idea for FG farming
« on: May 27, 2010, 08:08:55 pm »
I'm working on this idea, but now balance is one of decks problems. Idea is use Spine Carapace as effective creature control (=kind otyugh's replacement) and sametime utilize alfatoxin (upgraded Spine Carapace don't kill cell's). Eventually Condor take care of FG's health "problems" (permanent solution for temporary problems).

At this point I don't have any good idea how improve this deck - so brainstorming is more than welcome help. If this idea just sucks tell me (with reasoning). Deck is big, so if you can make it smaller and/or much better...

why do you have hope in your deck?
Two words: Unupped FFQ.

As for the poisoning, once again scarabs are better than otyughs, because you can sacrifice a single scarab when you have abundance of these and with decks that quint only pharaohs you can rewind poisoned scarabs ;)
Also, as long as a scarab is poisoned only a little you can make it grow by producing scarabs and eating at the same time, so he grows +2 hp and loses 1 each turn, so still grows.
Jep. Pharao+Anubis (<- for few scarabs/pharao) > Otyugh+Quintessence vs. Poisoning. Maybe pharao deck look more interesting after this little (annoying?) change.

In game like elements math give right tools when you plan your deck. Still you can (if you want to) think that there isn't any reason for calculate things (you are lucky guy, so you don't need math at all). Having lot HG's is good thing - FG's destroy few and slow you down => for example: if you have only 3 in big deck time is your enemy nro 1. HG's are one reason why I like pharaoh deck (50 cards, 6 HG's) and with time towers (+eternity and pharaoh/scarabs) I can draw as much as I like/need.

16 quantum towers/pillars are max in any size of anti-fg deck, IMO. You really don't need more. Just think how you beat most FG's. List of control types / FG is very useful tool along math (you can find it from Butterfly Angel thread). BTW: Only two quantum towers in my pharaoh deck.

False Gods / Re: If you were a false god...

My suggest for new FG:

Code: [Select]
744 744 744 744 744 744 745 745 745 74f 74f 74f 74f 77b 77b 77b 77i 77i 77i 77j 77j 77j 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7am 7am 7am 7n2 7n2 7n2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q3 7q3 7q5 7q5 7q8 7q8 7q8 7q8
Deck doubled of course (100 cards). Some evil synergy, towers go down, quantum get sucked, so you don't have quantum for rewinded creatures. Still this isn't too hard?

:entropy of course (goes slightly over  :time). There is lot reasons, but mostly: entropy is like chaos, changer of ways - just think about cards like: antimatter, chaos seed, chaos power, butterfly effect, fallen druid or even maxwell. Unique/useful abilities. Pure entropy is not that good in PvP and entropy is definitely part of good rainbow deck.

About  :time: Time have really useful cards like hourglass, eternity and Anubis. Anubis is one of those cards I didn't use when I started this game - so you need exactly right deck type to use it effectively (ex. pharaoh or poison quartet).

I like  :death a lot too.

3 cards I like most: Antimatter, Eternity and Alfatoxin.

Rainbow Decks / Re: Wushu's ever-evolving 30 Card Anti-FG Rainbow
« on: May 18, 2010, 09:29:28 am »

Decay is much more dangerous when your deck's quantum output is low - supernovas help only awhile. Deck out can be real issue, mid game become end (loss) game very fast. Adding few time towers don't help much against Decay or FG with good permanent control. Shard of Readiness (= broken card if you ask me) can be HUGE help => flying eternity + SoR + Quint, rewind one RoL forever for free. No need for time towers to avoid deck out.

So far 30 card deck is more or less 'oh well' -deck, you see very soon when you have reasonable change for win and when FG is insane good against your limited deck (ok, all deck's are always limited in many ways).

Personally I can't play without Jade Shield (maybe you don't see it in same light). I prefer full six supernovas (=> much less quantum towers) and other things like time towers to speedup deck -> some realiability for hourglasses and also help in later game IF you still have time towers. Rewind card is there for two reasons: if eternity is your last card you lose and when you already have eternity you have one really cheap rewind. Somebody may think why there is Pest, why just don't use another Otyugh? Reason is low  :gravity output, and one gravity tower is not that good idea (this means I can eat 5 more creatures).

can you give me advice on if my grinding deck is good or if I should make any changes to make it more efficient? also, is there an intermediate deck that I could fairly easily transition to that i could grind top 50 or AI5 before false-gods?  also, when i do reach $1500, which card should i upgrade first?
I have few suggestions for this anti fg deck.

IF you have 2 eternities then, use both and:
-7 quantum pillars (mostly because you need space for other stuff, and... you don't like big decks?)
-1 hourglass (sundials => you don't really need 4 hourglasses)
+1 quintessence (you don't want wait this card too long)
+1 fog shield (amazing shield, low cost and effective)
+1 animate weapon
+3 time factory (=> for hourglasses/rewinding)

And if you have only one eternity:
-3 quantum pillars
-1 hourglass
+1 quintessence
+1 fog shield
+1 rain fo fire

With 6 sundials you have time to generate quantum, so less quantum pillars should be enough; if not and you need more quantum pillars, add 1 quintessence and fog - just try them few games :)

for FGs, they'll play all the creatures on hand if they can,
so aflatoxin can be dropped?
Keep at least 2. You can fill FG's hand with cells :D My tip: -2 alfatoxin, +2 hourglass. I must test your deck... it's interesting (my FG Pinball don't work so well, this may be better).

There are 2 cards I really fear though, the Fireshield and the Carapace Shield,
I try to steal them as much as I can but this isnt always possible, and with a
quintessence on your creature you can't put it back in your deck to heal/remove
poinsons from it. Any tips vs those cards?
Unstoppable is one option, use it to most important creature. In my 30/40 card deck is usually 1 or 2 unstoppables to resolve problems with bonewall/fireshield/turtle shield/permafrost.
