Forum Archive / Re: Any variety in Top 50?
« on: December 30, 2009, 12:10:46 pm »
Seriously, why even have a top 50 section if 95%+ of them are the same boring raindow deck?  If it wasn't for those few people that are kind enough to put up farm decks for the newbs, I'd never play top 50 because it is SO boring.  If people aren't going to put a farm deck up, at least put up something that shows an ounce of originality.
You seem to not understand how the Top 50 works. It isn't that we submit and that deck goes into the Top 50 and doesn't change unless we resubmit. Our decks in the Top 50 are what we are using at the moment. And how do you think we got so high of scores? By farming False Gods. How do we farm False Gods? With a rainbow deck.

And even though most T50ers aren't online when you're playing them, they either forget to set up a farm or don't feel like switching to a pvp deck solely so you can play something other than a rainbow. Asking them to switch to something more interesting just so you can have more fun is kind of selfish. In fact, if they switched to a pvp deck, your T50 farmer might actually lose :P.

What do you want us to do? Stop farming gods just so our T50 decks are cooler?

First off, this is not the topic to be discussing changes to the game. It's simply to tell others to make sure their ideas or applicable, not a topic where you can post ideas.

And about the immolate one, guardian angel (unupgraded) has 6 health for 2 light, I think. That's 54 quantum per cremation. Elite Armajio has 30 health for 5 gravity. That's 270 fire quantum per cremation. In other words, Elite armajio + Cremation + Fire Lances = you're dead. Possibly in two turns.

Maybe you aren't playing it right...? Tell me how you play your games.

And yes, if the AI plays a pulvy and actually has the gravity needed to use it, you're likely dead. Same with gravity shield. But you can usually win the other games.

Rainbow Decks / Order in the Court!

So, while screwing around with flying dirks + adrenaline in trainer, I noticed hammers and was like "ITS HAMMAH TIEM!" And proceeded to make this deck.

Deck import code : [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 6rl 6rl 6rl 6rl 6rl 6rl 74a 77l 77l 77l 77l 77l 77l 7dm 7dm 7gn 7gn 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7q4 80a 80a 8pm

This deck is more control oriented. Use the basilisk bloods as 6 turn congeals. You could replace the rewind with another nova if you aren't comfortable with getting a nova with the auto mulligan.

This is much closer to the original deck.

On a good draw, you can get 22 damage out on the first turn with this deck. 1x Momentumed Gavel, 1x Flying Gavel, 1x Gavel = 22.

Overall, fun and semi fast with a little control or a lotta control. But more for lulz than anything else. (Yes, I actually made this in game.) (Edit: It's actually viable!)

This is Zanz's idea for one:

Mummy (Death element). I don't know the stats or cost.
When you reverse time it, it turns into a Pharaoh (time element). This creature would have the scarab generating ability.

When, you say that the changes in the beta will affect your account... does that mean the cards that you won through the ai5 will be carried to your account in the official elements game as well ???
Yes. Any cards won are carried over as is electrum spent/gained.

I made a new account in beta. I choose fire and made my deck 30 cards. After beating level 3 AI once, I tried level 5 AI. I beat him with 80+ HP left.

They are much easier than False Gods.
Which is what the topic hits on. Though there are some of them that can be pretty hard, most if not all (I obviously haven't played all of them yet) are closer to AI3 than False Gods.

Oh and if you do more testing and the fire deck keeps working (I suppose it uses fire lance/explosion for control...?), the go ahead and post a screenshot.

Bailey, post a screenshot (in link form) of your deck and I will add it to the unupgraded list, though to be honest 50% (even unupgraded) isn't too great.

Rainbow Decks / Re: rainbow reloaded - false god's (no sundials)
« on: December 25, 2009, 06:47:06 am »
Honestly the sundial nerf doesn't require a drastic change in god farming decks (look at me and CB!'s decks). Being nerfed to one turn still makes it pretty dang powerful.

That said, the deck still looks pretty good, though maybe a little random on the draws since it is a full 60 cards.

OK... The Time/Earth deck with EQ and Graboids does NOT work unupgraded. I tried it and lost most of the time.

Why the hell doesn't Zanz put level 5 in the TRAINER?!
But it DOES work upgraded :P.

I'm thinking mono aether is the best choice unupgraded.
