My last decks last victory at least didn't cost it any rating. I'd really like to know whats causing these abnormal swings of rating gains/losses the last few days...

At the risk of screwing my farm up, I'll say that SPlat seems to be having a renaissance time in platinum. I'm recording up to 75% win rate these days. Spin galore.

The sudden influx of 0-1 day old decks in top 25 seems odd, though...
Lucky you, I averaged 40% over the last 100 games with splat in Plat yesterday and today and on top it resulted in exactly 0 spins ;)

But my arena deck got about 80 rating for its first win yesterday, so it was kinda weird...

I have yet to win a single Plat game with this. I am absolutely quanta starved, most of the times I can finally play anything defensive the turn before I die. I have gone so many games without ever getting anything but a starting tower but no SNs or Towers after that so I don't even play any other card after that before I lose :(

Time to play a Silence/Sanc/SoS deck in Trainer just to see the pretty new effects. =D
Silence and sanc are only visible when effective on player side, so you need to give your opponent the silences to see it.

Decks with 5 (more like 10 with double deck size) just don't seem to work for me.

Ontopic: None of the posted decks works out for me in the long run. Even with the Bonewall-Decks I lose quite often.

If I got more variety from the oracle I'd go for it, but its been phoenix, graboid and 7 different shields throughout the last days *roll*

Just want to throw a pic here I just took:
All these persons received a fire card with the oracle. If you do and you can build an efficient fire deck, you'll climb up the LeaderBoard quasi automatically. No need to see the picture three times to understand that their is an imbalance toward certain elements (Fire first but entropy and death too in a less drastic manner). The only thing we can hope for is that Zanz hear our call and give us more tools (i.e. cards) to restore the equilibrium. If not better be use to see red ...

Just for you then, Bootsza:

Made this morning just after Oracle time: 7 :fire + 1 :earth (being an immograborush) + 5 :entropy + 1 :aether + 4 :death + 5 :darkness + 2 :water (newcomers) = 25

The  :aether deck is an fractix with crap load of control.
But as Bonestorm, no SoGs, no Cremations, no SNovas. And its not a Firestall either. Still not good though?

Wins aren't consistent either, but based on plays and entries of new decks, so that 0 points means being ranked somewhere around 250. I have gained between 5 and 16 points (the range is probably even wider, but thats what I have seen myself) per win on platinum leaguedue to that.

Even seeing the current arena screen, I don't think, that fire needs to be nerfed, since the skills do play quite a big role in those decks being nigh unstoppable.

Simply buffing everything else, would probably end in every element being able to do everything, thus being the same. So maybe a return to a weakness for the fire element might be the better choice. As for me personally, I would wait for the new shards and their influence on the metagame, and if fire still seems to be the romperstomper element, then I'd probably go for some finetuning.

In Chat Zanz said today that 1.285 fixes this - as in the AI does not play steal anymore if there's no free permanent slot available on its field (sorry, forgot to take a screenshot).

does it happen for the player as well? like if the player has no perm space and uses a steal?
I went to steal a permanent without having room for it yesterday in an arena match and the permanent I stole got destroyed on the opponents side, did not go anywhere on my side (obviously I had no room) and the steal card was gone. So it seems to bug out only on the AI side.
