Card Ideas and Art / Re: Clock Wizard | Time Wizard
« on: January 15, 2012, 05:12:44 pm »
oh yeah, its definitely OP besides the fact that its REALLY EASY TO KILL.

PC includes: pulvy, butterfly effect, mutated creatures with steal or destroy, steal, and deflagration.

CC includes: chaos seed(unupped), mutation, fallen elf, some mutated creatures, pandemonium, virus, plague, aflatoxin, otyugh, acceleration, fire bolt, rain of fire, rage potion, toadfish(unupped), ice bolt, flooding, unstable gas, shockwave, thunderstorm, scarabs, parasites, drain life, liquid shadow, lightning, some shields(but they dont affect clock wizard unless he's buffed),  owl's eye, blue nymph(unstable gas), red nymph(rage potion), black nymph(liquid shadow), grey nymph(aflatoxin), and nymph queen(can create blue nymph, red nymph, black nymph, and grey nymph)

Clock wizard is too easy to kill. you cant be calling it OP. T_T
...It's rediculously overpowered.

Play a few time towers for the first 4 turns.
Play two wizards.
Play eternity.
Draw two cards.
Animate eternity.

Draw two cards.

All of that was in one turn where the enemy had no chance of intervening, by the way.

Or you could just run any single deck and add a bunch of useful shards and perms.

Needs way lower stats and higher quanta cost. The ability is awesome, but very good, and the current card is pretty awesome WITHOUT the ability. (Use with overdrive for mono gravity.)

Card idea i had in relation to this ability.

[03:16:54] Powerfrog: I just had a pretty interesting idea. Card with 30hp 0atk and automatic gravity pull. It pulls the full row towards it but only pulls every 3rd turn, starting on turn 0 when summoned.
[03:17:59] Powerfrog: Could easily be destroyed before the effect, but with freezes and other CC, could be used in very game changing tactics.

Rainbow Decks / Re: PVP Graboid Rainbow (unupped)

I run a very similar deck, with -2 arsenic +1 vamp dagger +1 acceleration +1 pillar +1 blessing

Any suggestions on upgrade order, to use as an arena farmer?
Not really sure why you put in acceleration. As for an arena farmer, you should go up 6 novas first. They're pretty useful and flexible.
Took out 1 momentum and replaced with a mummy, to make use of all elements.

I put acceleration in because it really helps you outdamage a big rush, and is viable last resort CC for things like devourers or nasty ability creatures. I don't really need the momentums as deflag usually takes care of pesky shields.

If i'd upgrade novas i'd definatley have to remove a few graboids and use mark of entropy... Would be awesome quanta though.

Seems very deadly, but why 3 fahrenheits? Seems a little OTT to me.

I really do like the idea of semi-quanta pillars that generate 2 random quantum of the 4 elements that group is. But 2 is way too much for such a small group, comparing this to quanta pillars you should get 1. But then, why have random in the first place?

Perhaps they could generate 1-2 random quanta of the group elements. That way it will be slightly more balanced yet still an improvment of the 1 of you'd get from a normal pillar.

And maybe you could choose a group at the start (and be able to change for a small fee, like you do with marks) and then have some specilized quests for each group such as beating the opposing FG, so Decay have to beat Morning Glory/Miracle/FireQueen etc.

Just throwing some ideas around. But i think we really do need some new quests, the current ones are done in an hour or so then forgotten.

Earth / Re: An actual MONO earth deck!
« on: March 23, 2010, 12:29:05 am »
I don't hate graboids, in fact i used them a lot when farming top 50. But they are not strictly mono as they use time to evolve and i wanted to make a 100% mono (besides gravel, which is always going to take earth quanta anyway)

Antlions could make a very good substitute for Steel Golems i guess, but i like to try and lure AI attacks onto the golem, something i cannot really do with an antlion. Not to mention if a fire shield or the new thorn shield appears, your golem is gonna last a lot longer. It's all down to personal preference i guess and i will try antlions out and see if there is much improvment.

Gnome gemfinders... Ehh, i see where you're coming from as this deck is quanta starved. But i think that they're far too brittle, the damage is almost irrelivent (especially if they have shields such as permafrost) and an additional tower would be a far sturdier and generally better way of quanta generation.

Thanks for the comments guys! Keep 'em coming!

Yeah that's right. I don't class your Graboids as mono. And with that i decided to make an actual mono :D

Ok. So first of all, your cards are very expensive to play and apart from adding more towers and taking out a dragon or golem, there isn't much you can do.

The good thing is that once you have your creatures down. They have a high amount of hp/can burrow and will be very difficult to take down (one fire storm will not take anything down, after this you can burrow your Shriekers and your big guys should be fine.)

I havn't had much time to test this. And i know it isn't the best mono deck, but i think earth deserves something other than Graboids. This would probably work un-upped, but even with the towers you'll find your self short on quanta quite a lot.

General Discussion / Re: Card win chance...
« on: March 21, 2010, 04:37:36 pm »
Pretty negative feeedback :D

Now that you mention all they'd have to do i play the one rare, yeah... I guess it would make farming even easier.
And now thinking about it, unless you play a level 5, any card you win is going to have roughly the same worth anyway. Electrum wise.

General Discussion / Card win chance...
« on: March 21, 2010, 09:52:58 am »
This has probably already been said before. But wouldn't it be better if you could only win the cards that your opponent played? This wouldn't only improve you chances when playing a fast deck, but it would stop (or at least make it a lot more difficult to do) the top 50 farms.

I only say this because when all my opponent plays are frogs and adrenaline and then i win a jade staff or something, it just doesn't seem right. I never ever saw the card. Why should i be able to win it?

Reversing 6 creatures will have a greater effect on the battle than halfing 20 of them. The best you're ever gonna get is a creature with 1 damage.

Saying that, i didn't read the card properly last time. I assumed once you play it, it is bound to whatever creature you played it on. Sort of like an equip card that so many card games use now days. Being able to play it once a turn on anything may be a little more dangerous, but i don't really see it as a threat unless the opponent manages to get about 3 out with a steady supply of quanta.

I can totally see this becoming the one overpowered card and all this coming back to bite me in the ass  :D

Let me get this straight... There is a card that REVERSES a creatures damage and makes it HEAL you instantly. But this one only halfs their damage and can be destroyed.

I'm sorry but does anyone else see how antimatter beats this in every way? Not to mention the fact that very few decks rely on only one big damage dealer. I can't even see a mono darkness deck using this. Sorry. Underpowered beyond belief.
