In-game Troubleshooting / Where to get shard of graditude?
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:17 pm »

I wasn't sure about it either, so I emailed him with my game account, email address and paypal reciept number.
Over a week ago, I emailed both the libero.it email that was given in Paypal, as well as the email address on the bottom of the Elements game.  I forwarded my Paypal receipt, gave my info, and asked for a shard.  No response.

Is there somewhere else I'm supposed to email?

When you first create an account, you can choose to attach an email to the account. Make sure that this email matches the one that you use for PayPal, and you should be able to get a Shard of Gratitude without much trouble.
I don't remember if I did this, and I doubt the email on my account matches the one that I use for PayPal.

Should I just email the game creator from the PayPal email address and give him my in-game name there?

You need to have an email attached to your in game account (i think) and wait for over a week.
What do you mean by having an email attached to my account?  Do I have to send him an email?

Donate $5 or win it from t50 in the slots (pretty rare).
I donated $5, but never received a Shard.  Is there something I need to do to request it?

Outdated Tutorials / NEWBIE GUIDE: How to become RICH in 1 Day
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:13 pm »

Lol, what are you talking about? That deck is very slow in earning money.

Also when hunting for rare cards, if you are smart you don't fight every single top-50 deck. You skip all non-rare farm decks (real decks) and try to find those rare farm decks (decks with only rare cards and pillars).

If you need money to build a Godkiller deck, go fight level 3 AI. If you need rare cards, go fight top-50 and search for those rare farm decks (doesn't matter what deck you have because you will win every time).

That is the fastest way and anyone who says different is not telling the truth.
I'm a new player who followed your guide and is currently using your Rainbow deck to farm False Gods.  (I'm up to 15 upgraded cards ... thanks.)

That said, I was one of the people who asked Essence to post his link here.  I found it to be much faster to farm T50 with his deck than it was to farm AI3 with a mono-fire deck.  I got more gold per win by farming T50, most of the cards I won were either rare or were useful for your Rainbow deck (so I could keep them and didn't have to re-buy), and my losing percentage was lower against T50 than it was against AI3.

I don't doubt your skill and knowledge, but I think you're overlooking some advantages of Essence's strategy.  It helped me get to the point where I had enough gold to put together the unupgraded version of your deck.

Deck Help / Noob Rainbow Deck Question
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:09 pm »

I finally saved up enough electrum to make the ScaredGirl unupgraded rainbow deck.  (Yay!)

In the course of grinding T50 to get that electrum, I got the following rares:

Miracle
a shard (unupgraded, for now)
Eternity
Lobotomizer
Druidic Staff
Pulverizer (plus I selected one for my quest reward, so I now have two)
Arsenic

My question is:  Should I include any of these in the rainbow deck?  If I do, should I take anything out of the deck to compensate?  Should I upgrade any of these ahead of the ones that ScaredGirl suggests to upgrade?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hopefully you're still here ...  ;D

Okay, now I've won Pulverizer.  To do the Scaredgirl Rainbow strategy, do I just take the deck listed at #8 here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,522.msg5018#msg5018) and add Pulverizer to it?

I read that thread as well as this one (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,132.msg807#msg807) and don't see any discussion of Pulverizer in the OPs, unless I'm missing something. :(

Both of those decks use Owl's Eye because it is the most common rare in the game. Just replace it with a Pulverizer. It works much better, since the more permanent control you have, the better off you are against the Gods.
Yay, thank you sir. :)

Okay, this is very helpful. :)  Thank you Uncle Jellyfish.

Since my fire deck has 85%+ win rate overall, no point in switching to poison before I build the Scaredgirl God Farming rainbow?

In-game Troubleshooting / Two Newb Questions
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:07 pm »
Hey there ... I'm a newb who just started playing yesterday. :)  I made a basic fire deck and quickly had success against the Level 3 AI.  I'm up to Score 422 and still grinding to 500 to get my epic weapon.

Two questions:

1) Does the AI get better decks as your score increases?  I only had 2 losses total before I hit 400 score, and I've already lost 8 times tonight. :(

2) Which rare weapon should I choose when I hit 500 score?  Scaredgirl's sticky post (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,522.msg5018#msg5018) suggests Eternity or Lobotomizer, but in another thread this person (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,668.msg6864#msg6864) suggests Trident and this person (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,668.msg7032#msg7032) suggests Pulverizer.  Any advice?  I haven't been able to win a single rare card yet via the wheel, so it seems like an important choice.

To be honest, I'm still trying to absorb everything and figure out what to do next.

In the short term, now that my fire deck is going from a 99% win rate to a 60-75% win rate, I was thinking that I might be better off switching to this deck I read about:

Quote
6x Poison
6x Chysora
6x Freeze
11x Bone Pillar
1x Dagger
Mark of Water
Once I get 500 Score (for my weapon) and 2000 gold, I figured that I'd build the famous rainbow deck and farm False Gods, because that seems to be "the thing to do."  (If you have any better ideas, let me know!)
