Team Underworld / Re: Deck candidates
« on: November 12, 2010, 05:57:22 pm »
These all look like great decks.  Sorry I didn't post earlier, I just finished reading through what you guys have put up.  I agree with whoever said that we should limit nymph use unless most of the team has those nymphs.  If only one player has them, then it could make that players deck predictable to the other teams.

As for deck creation, I will work on some.  Mostly what I have done is take somebody else's idea and either run with it, or make small adjustments that I thought made it stronger.

Edit - Do we want to post what nymphs we have, so we can decide if we want to use any of them?  I have the following nymphs:
Auburn: 1
Green: 1
Red: 1
Queen: 1
White: 1
Blue: 1
Turquoise: 2

None of them are upgraded, but I can fix that if needed.

So....what happens now?

I also confirm.  When my creature field is full Incarnate is unable to spawn skeletons.

the aether part looks pretty useless to me
Yep. I don't use but I think if you put quint to woodoo you cannot aim with rage potion. But maybe I'm wrong.
You're right.  Once a creature is quinted, then it is not targetable by anybody or anything. (excluding damaging shields)

Should the final vote come down to the players who made it onto the team?

Is it presumptuous to play a round with the person who would be my second opponent if my first opponent has not responded to multiple PMs?

I've been trying to get hainkarga to start playing me, but after I sent him the times I were available for the weekend, for three days he has not responded. I really don't want to use diceroll again, so can you knock him down to the loser's bracket?
This is why you should BCC your messages to the warmaster so they can check if you did do this, did you BCC the warmasters?
No. Nobody should do this. There are 100+ players in War. What do you think happens to the inbox of a Warmaster if everyone BBC's their duel PM's to him/her?

What you do is you save your sent emails. There's an option for that in your profile. Then IF the match doesn't happen, you can send those saved PM's to the Warmaster.

Short version: Do not send copies of your duel organizing PM's to Warmasters until the time has ran out and the duel didn't happen.
When do we send that information if we're in the loser's bracket?  Just wanting to know what type of time frame to set for the first fight of the round.

I really don't think that this matter should be discussed any further. It's already done, too late to change the ruling, and I already know how to fix it for next War. Case closed.
Being an organizer for an online event when there are deadlines to meet is never fun (I've been there).  Sympathies to all involved, including scaredgirl.  In a game like this it's impossible to please everybody.

I'm waiting for a reply from 1chase1997.  We're in the same time zone, and I pm'd him yesterday telling him I'd be on from 9-5 today, but I haven't heard from him.

Politics / Re: Gay marriage

However, I think that politics could only be properly described in the English language.  Poli (poly) meaning many, tics meaning bloodsucking creatures.
This is a joke, right? Politics comes from the Greek words "polis" (city-state), "polites" (citizen), and "politikos" (civil, civic, related to citizens or the state).
Very much meant to be a joke, seeing as the aforementioned tic is actually spelled tick.

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but i think that religion is overrated. So is politics. The world needs to just get over itself and start fixing things rather than DISCUSSING it.
I agree religion is overrated, although im not entirely sure how poltics is overrated, yes we should be fixing things but how the hell are we supposed to fix the world if we can't agree on what  fixing it is
I don't see how religion, or the personal beliefs of people, could be overrated.  However, I think that politics could only be properly described in the English language.  Poli (poly) meaning many, tics meaning bloodsucking creatures.  And I agree that it is difficult to fix things when we cannot come to a consensus as to how it should be repaired.  Thus you have discussion.
