Does this work unupped with only 3 SoGs, and the other 3 and 3 SoDs replaced? If so, to what do I replace them with?
Yeah, it does.

If you go way back to page 1 and scroll down, in my first screenshots I only had a couple SoGs and 1 or 2 SoDs.  (The pics in the OP are from the trainer, but the ones below were my own cards at the time.)

All you really need are the SoGs.

And remember... pics or it didn't happen...!

Short and sweet and to the point: My latest victim is... Tuntor!

I don't know much about him but... I'm better he's a worth adversary!

He enters the duel with a Mark of Darkness, drops a Quantum Pillar, and and Aether Pillar (...?) and then he... casts a Precog on me...

???





*confused*

(A worthy adversary, indeed.)

This wasn't a duel...  This was a puzzle!

(I like puzzles.)

He proceeds to slap me around with more Precogs, Steals, Explosions, and a Discord.

Lots of Updates:
    -1 Jade Staff-2 Explosion-1 Permafrost Shield-3 Phase Shield+1 Spine Carapace+2 Purify+2 Wings+1 Improved Steal+1 Electrocutor
Fire and Thorn would kill the malignant cells and kill the lockdown.  The point is to defend against the massive 1 damage pocks, but not to kill them.  (This is why Inundation is so great.  It leaves the malignant cells alone.)
Doesn't an upgraded Thorn shield block one attack so Malignant Cells aren't affected by it?
Dragoon had a good point.  After a lot of testing... I've decided that an upgraded Spine Carapace is awesome.  In this deck it's better than Permafrost.  Most of the rest of the changes had to do with taking advantage of all the new cards and evening out the quanta usage.  If I was going with two 7 costed Life Shields, the Staff had to go.  If Permafrost was gone, it opened space for Purifies (on top of 6 SoGs) and made more breathing room for the Inundation.  And the 3x Phase Shields were always a little pricey for the deck.  The 2x Wings filled those shoes nicely.  And with the removal of the Jade Staff along with the Phase Shields, it opened up a slot for an Electrocutor.

With more testing, were a couple creatures that gave this deck problems.  These were mostly creatures with Growth or Blaze, but also things like Fallen Druids and cards like Butterfly Effect.  Electrocutor fights off all of these (and so does the Spine Carapace).  It's tempting to put a Pulverisor in here, but it's always a threat to be stolen (like from Tuntor's deck).  On the other hand, a stolen Electrocutor is harmless.

The healing from purify doesn't happen on your turn.  It happens on your opponent's turn, like antimatter + liquid shadow.  But it happens before your opponent's creatures attack.  So, if you have +2 purify and your opponent has a skeleton, you'll still end up with 99 health at the end of your opponent's turn.  You'll get the +2 healing then the skelly will attack.  I don't think purify will help with EM wins.
I agree.  Nerf skeletons.

Actually... playing a Relic (for zero quanta) and having it in play if you win should give you +20 Electrum.

Wait, so does this mean that the 'bug' is fixed? It still clears off ALL poison off of you, while adding that +1 healing counter, right?
I'm also wondering this.

I've been trying to find a fight with someone with poison with no luck.  The wording is weird for me.  From the text, it sounds like it should.

Currently, Regen and Poison are opposing each other at a 1:1 rate. This is probably a mistake and will probably be fixed.

Example: Playing two upped Purify gives you a '+4' regen counter. The opponent plays 'Deadly Poison', bringing it to a '+1' regen counter. Then Poison is played, making it into a Poison Counter of '1'. Another upped Purify brings it to '+1', not removing the poison first, and merely adding the '+2' to the '-1'.
Wait... so if you have 30 poison counters on you and if you draw a Purify, you'll remove all of the poison and you get +2 regen.  And... the person doing the poisoning has to first nullify the regen down to zero before they can begin to build it up again?

"Rarity" only belongs in pay-to-play games where you need to artificially drive the market.

Nice.

Someone else posted a casual type version of this deck what was over 30 cards.  He was trying to make a "combo" deck.  But I think he admitted that his didn't work that well, but it was funny when it did.
