Only saw the frog, recluse, and crawler during the first game, and a bunch of time pillars/pends (plus a precog or two), low number of creatures hurt this deck.

I figured he'd think I'd use a different deck, so I stuck to my guns. only saw the arsenic, frog, and recluse this time, but my dragons decided to play. On the last turn that mattered, I got the ONE card that wouldn't help me- the quicksand.

Since he used a blitz deck, I clearly made the right decision :P Of course, RNG decided to have a word with me and gave me a handfull of entropy stuff and no scorps until I had 15 cards- otherwise it wouldn't have been as close (if I'd played my discord earlier and not tried to fake him out it would have probably delayed him a bit longer).

As always with light/time, I put in dials so I could push up my off-elemen and upgraded card allowances- and it might have worked... except I drew THREE fractals first turn and had both hopes in the bottom 10 cards- kuro slowing me down by rewinding my RoLs didn't help much either. This game I completely blame on RNG screwage, but that's how elements is.

Epic games, though I really should have scrapped that rainbow earlier- it would need 50% off-element to work, I think.

I felt it would be fitting to end with the deck that sealed my earlier victory- whichever way it went- but sadly the RNGod decided it wasn't to be.

For a moment I looked at what you said about decking out thinking "But False Gods draw two cards a turn..." and then I remembered that they only draw one if their hand is full. The AI would have to be programmed to continue to use mindgate as it gets low on cards, though- currently it sees them as a sort of hourglass, and stops using them at around ten cards left. The only other problem would be if she immortalizes everything (ironic), since she would then be unable to bounce a creature to keep herself from decking out.

For the reward- Upgraded relics sell for 1025 :electrum, plus there's the chance of anubi, eternities, mindgates, phase shields, bolts, and (though relatively low) towers/pendula as well. mindgates, shields, and relics would be most common (five of the first, six of the latter two), and only phase shields are common FG prizes (gemini), though relics are obtainable through dark matter (gravity nymphs) and dream catcher (purple nymphs)- but both of those are very difficult. overall I'd say it's worth it :P

Most variants of CCYB use aflatoxin and antimatter these days- the former would destroy her ability to use the opponent's creatures against them, but the latter wouldn't affect her too much- especially since she probably already drew three copies of it! RoL/hope would probably fare a bit worse than against gemini- she can pull her shields faster thanks to her nymphs, and the electrocutor won't help if all the creatures are immortal ;) Shak'ar would probably own her, though, unless she pulls an eternity after the doll comes out and rewinds it- her nymphs hit hard and the AI isn't that smart.

Thanks for the input, I'll be sure to make that note about mindgates :D

I was playing around with a mitosis/pandoll deck in the trainer when I noticed that my quanta was still being scrambled by a frozen discord. Luckily I got screenies just in time
And yes, the AI infected my doll :-X

Definitely DD. Any Master of Death needs to have upped recluses. Best card to upgrade in Death's stable. Also it's nice to see the decks you guys made especially since you guys have plenty of intel on my successful style of play (throw a deck together and pray to the RNG).

The fate egg + nightmare combo was pure genius.

Managed to kill him with a burst of three crusaders and two blessed dunes after letting the toxin and eternity wear him down.

I got an epic hand with a discord, several pends, a scarab, and a few CPs... and then got hit by a desync. On the rematch I had only two pends, a bunch of CP, two scarabs, and a nymph... and my hand quickly filled up with the remainder of my six CPs :< bad draw + his quicksands = owned

Duel 5: Fire duo

I added some more dejas and took out the pends... but didn't get enough quanta (that, combined with his steals), so I was really slow bringing out anything other than dejas. I did, however, get 4 or 5 of my potions and all of my immos, so I killed almost all of his creatures as they came out... except at the end. No potions + low quanta + rewound anubis + nightmared dragon (again, brilliant!) spelled my defeat. It was suprisingly close- if I could have killed his dragon, I may have managed to pull a win.

It only needs to quint the first anubis or aether nymph, and then they can quint each other, the golden nymphs, and anything which it gets from mindgates. And glad you liked it, I poured lots of love into it ;D

He was a god; she was but a mortal. It was supposed to be taboo... yet here I am. My mother was denied the afterlife, my father disgraced. I would have been killed... I should have been killed.
