I've been trying out versions of this for Ai3 farming and it has a very good EM rate. A very nice deck.  :)

The nice thing is that when you Oracle certain FGs you can just switch in a few other cards to increase your chances of victory. With Miracle I like to put in an eternity just in case, while with some of the other FGs Seism, Obliterator) I throw in 1-2 Protect Artifact cards. Its a very versatile deck.

I now have three as I just won my third. Unfortunately, they are all Purple, what's up with that? I put one in a timebow once but its performance was a bit too spotty vs HBs to justify use against FGs. Though it was fun to use.

Same here, many thanks to the players who post Farm decks for the rest of us. I also found my interest in elements spurred on from obtaining rares and shards from farms in t50.

I don't mind Shard Farms since that's how I completed my Shards, I think I managed to get 9 SoGs in 2 days farming t50. Encountering shard farms also depends on when you play as sometimes I can go a whole day and only encounter 1 or 2 while at other times its like very other deck.

If you liked "RoL/Hope", I might suggest this.

Who knows?  You might find that the modification suits your fancy.
I gave it a go, though I don't have a Light Nymph. While Improved Steal is okay, I use a variant with Explosions that is a tad bit faster. Anyway, it was interesting, and I commend you for pushing the envelope on ROL-Hope deck design.

I got 2 SoGs and a Shard of Readiness from t50, but it was probably from a farming deck that someone had kindly posted. From False Gods it would be 2 upgraded RoLs, i have yet to get a triple win, I get doubles a lot though.

Yes! I finally upgraded the last card (antimatter). My first fully upped deck :P I would of had a fully upped RoL/hope, but I was told it was better to not upgrade everything.

Its kinda weird, I usually a few of the easy gods in a row (a lot of Elidnis and Destiny), then I get a few hard ones in a row, then it repeats itself.
Yeah i noticed this kind of cycle as well, often I'll get a couple of the easy ones then it will be followed by false gods with all kinds of control and denial. Also happens with the HBs. Must probably observe and note the fights...

General Discussion / My experience with Elements

In the initial stages, Elements can be pretty "daunting" since (a) you don't have many rares, though you are assured of at least one; (b) improving your cards can be pretty tedious; (c) the HBs and FGs seem almost unbeatable; (d) farming T50 requires that you put the "work" to complete a decent farming deck; and (e) each player must face whatever "instant gratification" issues they may have.

In my case, before I started playing, I read a lot about the various decks and the cards, and the strategies and what-not. I work, so I prefer to read walk-throughs and guides for the games I play so I don't waste time. (Yeah, I would love to explore, but I'm no longer in college so I don't have the luxury of putting off critical tasks til the last minute.) I started out with mono-Aether (way back when it was version 1.13 or something), got a Lobotmizer, worked up to where I could beat Ai3, then i switched to Rainbow. The critical thing was to upgrade the Pillars and Novas, as they can be used in any number of variants. Again, with more grinding, I managed to complete a decent Rainbow. Then I got bored and quit for a bit- my score was around 47K at this time.

I came back in version 1.23 to find that quite a lot had changed. My Rainbow was not as effective and even Ai3 could be problematic  :o. So I read up on the forums, found Terroking's deck, constructed it and farmed t50- I completed all the Shards except Divinity, and I got my first Eternity and Pulvy. Since I enjoyed the speed and damage output I kept at it til I had completed almost every rare weapon. From there I built a smaller Timebow, farmed HB's a bit, constructed ROL-Hope, and after reading about "Why Bother" decided to play it as it was easy to construct. So now I can play maybe 10-12 games vs FGs and win upped cards worth around 3000-4000 electrum on good days. I'm very grateful to Terroking, Yaladilae, Amilir, Puppychow, Scaredgirl, Qoholet, and many other players who posted deck ideas and discuss strategy. All in all, there are good and bad draws, but having a good deck concept can really help mitigate the bad ones.

Nice Deck. I tried it out, in my first game i went up against Seism, unfortunately, my pillars got quaked and though I had him on the ropes, I decked out. In my 2nd-4th games I beat Scorpio, Ferox and Obliterator, also I won 3 upped cards, so that was a lot of fun. Although I still like to play ROL-Hope and my Timebow from time to time, I will definitely be farming FGs more with this deck. Kudos to Amilir!   :D

Eternal Phoenix / Re: Oracle : Eternal Phoenix
« on: July 26, 2010, 08:43:48 am »
So far in about three tests I haven't won once.  It's really dependent on getting those Protect Artifacts for your towers and a Diamond Shield early.  If you don't get that, you are TOAST.

OK, holy crap.  That Condor deck is incredible, I am building it when I get the quanta!  Mid-quality draw and it was an easy kill.  It's also funny to watch how long the game has to pause to calculate twelve phoenix deaths, and as many ash/skeleton creations and condor boosts.  :D

Here's what I'd run unupped and rare-less.  Took out a vulture to make room for 13 pillars.

Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52k 52k 52k 52k 52k 52n 52n 52r 52r 52r 52r 5oh 5oh 5oh 5oh 5oh 5oh
Tested this deck unupped and won 2, lost 1.  Might be worth it to drop one more vulture for a pillar... damage was never a problem, initial quanta generation sometimes was due to explosion.
This really beats the cr*p out of EP. I will always play this when I get an Oracle reading with EP as the next FG. Its almost like cheating!  :D
