Now that is more like it! The new Quantum Towers look both powerful, elegant, and cool! Good Job!

Life / Re: The Ultimate Speed EM Deck

Ever since I faced a couple of these in T50, I decided to make one and give it a go. Its real fast for AI3, and allows EM a lot of the time. Though sometimes there's an early Oty that gives you a run for the money, Dusk can also be really annoying. I even played it on T50 just for kicks  :P
That was probably me you faced in the T50 with this deck.  I have it up a lot unless I'm testing a deck or have up a biting farm.  Yeah, I was surprised how fast this deck came out when I did my testing.

I won't claim this is the best deck out there for t50, but it would interesting to see the win and EM rate versus t50.
Yeah, it was mainly your deck, one belonging to trdgh (?) and clathius (?), and at least one more. It boiled down to either getting more damage out than the life-rush deck and/or drawing wings. Its a very focused deck that does exactly what it should- spew out creatures ramping up the damage every turn, and provide bursts of healing to out last the opposition. Without drawing the right permanents, a rainbow rush deck can get into hurt town really fast and get kicked into deadville the next turn.

Rainbow Decks / Re: (1.24) CC? Why bother?
« on: August 11, 2010, 06:46:50 pm »
Tried out a 3 destroyer variant, it really makes an earlier offense possible. I've been playing this in t50 for the past hour just to play against other CC why bother decks:

Code: [Select]

It's a fatty, but its fun to play.

I would remove the UG for another set of wings or a fog.
I would remove the pulvy for another grab and use the steals to gain a weapon. Remove the specte, because it paralyzes ur water usage and it takes up some life, and include an epipherine instead, now this card is brilliant. Focus ur epi on your charger and TU it, thats 30dmg through shields :D

Just noted there was no TU :(
Yeah actually, I do use 2 sets of Wings some times, I just like having the UG for a lark. The Pulvy came in after I compared it to the original discord I was using, coupled with the finding that the number of decks using multiple shards was quite high, I've come to rely on it for either an early lock or mid-game save. I will try it without the spectre though, and give Epi and TU a go, though I have tried them out before though not at the same time. I've also fiddled with Unstoppable and some shields. I find that in T50 I wind up battling the same 10 to 12 decks so I customize as I go.

Anyway, thanks for the advice, its always fun to try new things out.

I've been using a speed rainbow (originally based on terroking's version) that has morphed over time. Lately I added Wings and Improved Anti-Matter to counter Life Rush and CC Why Bother Decks. Sometimes I add a Liquid Shadow to replace one Improved Steal. I just use the Unstable Gas for fun really, though it does help with ROL Hope sometimes.

On an interesting side note, I had 2 Mirror Matches today (Huzzah for me), I beat myself once and got killed by Unstable gas once too.
Using 2 wings might be better. Wings can block a lot of monsters such as the Giant Frog and Cockatrice rush and a golem rush. I'd replace the UG with it and take out the heal for a solid 30-card speedbow.
I'll give that a go. However, I really like using 31 card decks, even when I was into MTG I had trouble with keeping a deck to 45 cards minimum ;)

Nice update! Makes the game even more interesting and distracting  :P  I do like the old quantum pillar art better than the newer one though. But I don't mind the change.

Cheongmaster's Rainbow Deck has been really giving my rush deck a pounding. It's a lot harder to beat with rush than most of the other t50 decks. That or I keep getting bad draws?  :P

My hat off to you sir for a fine deck!

Seism / Re: Oracle : Seism
« on: August 05, 2010, 10:34:23 am »
;)  Good deck, tried it out despite the fact that I don't have a full set of upgraded Aether cards, and I won though with 2 turns to spare. The Dragons should "preferably" be upgraded though as the diamond shield Seism has will absorb 3 points of damage and he'll granite skin at least once, so if you fail to get them out early, you may deck out.

Off topic: I ended up fooling with an all Aether deck with Ai3 for quite a while reliving my first grinding deck for Elements  :P

I have to say Pervepic's creatureless deck filled with SoGs, Shields, a Miracle, and direct damage got me a few times the other day. THough I did beat it twice. Life rush and golem destroyers tend to fall to Wings.
