That looks nice. Pretty simple worded, clear description. But I think "divide into 2 Avalanches getting +1|-2" would be better, as your version might suggest dividing into two creatures with negative health, thus lasting only one turn(like Spark).
But, anyways, wouldn't it allow quick multiplicating by eg. casting Heavy Armor on it?

I thought so. Another idea about the ability I had in mind was + 1|1 per turn (with a limit of 5|4) and spawning another 2|1 one every turn. Increasing casting cost to maybe 6/5... What is your opinion, would that work any better? Or should I rather redo/scrap the whole idea?

NOTES:
Grows no matter if the attack was successful or not, unless poisoned(meaning with one poison token it won't loose health, but simply remain at whatever health it was), delayed or frozen.

Intended to divide immediately after reaching 3 HP. I.e. played on turn 1.
2|1 Avalanche attacks => permanents, weapons etc. act =>  Avalanche becomes 2|2
turn 2
2|2 Avalanche attacks => permanents, weapons etc. act =>  Avalanche becomes 2|3 and divides
turn 3
Two 3|1 Avalanches attack => ... => Avalanches become 3|2
turn 4...

Could be quite deadly if used early, but vulnerable to CC like spells, poisoning(which would stop it from growing) and even unupped Ottys, hence low cost. But perhaps 4 :water / 3 :water would be better?

Also intended to:
divide immediately if buffed to more than 3 HP;
remain at ATT | 3 if there is no free creature slot(you would still be able to buff it beyond |3, but will divide if any of your creatures die;
loose Adrenaline when dividing;
keep Immortal when dividing.

Will probably be deemed OP or useless(?), but I just wanted to share my idea.

I know there were some concepts of avalanche/landslide before, but all being "burrow all/lobo all" spells. This is a completely different concept.

How would this work with adrenaline? Each attack will destroy quanta, only first two attacks, or maybe every odd attack?(first, third etc.)

About my previous question - I somehow missed the word "life" creature.
And generating  :life after a creature is played would slow it down a little, compared to original. The speed bonus still wouldn't be effective in frog rush due to quite high cos of Osin, imo.

So, how would it work? A zero-cost active ability to target creatures for 2 damage, with additional regular 2 damage to opponent player at the end of a turn? Or would it randomly attack a single creature instead of opponent?

Anyways, if it is kept in its current form, would it affect only your hand, or FFQ as well? I mean, spawning Fireflies uses some :life quanta. Would the cost be reduced?

I'm aware  that some things will have to be changed - probably its play cost. Feel free to suggest, anyways
SERIES:
None right now - it's my first card

While playing against some lvl3s using a fun deck including 6 Devourers, some Life Drains and Fractals I came up with an idea of this thing. An obese thing, expensive, but pretty efficient. While it may seem too expensive to play, as expensive as a dragon, it can be a good source of Devourers and Pests if paired with something to kill it with - most probably Life Drains or Parasites. For one card(or two, if you LD it to death) you get three creatures. Or, if paired with Nightfall/Eclipse it would become a pretty decent hitter, which enemy will probably hesitate a bit to kill, due to what rests within.

About the artwork - Devourers and Pests always remind me of leeches due to their added passive, and leeches also seem to fit darkness nicely - even the color is good. Plus, their looks - slimy, hideously fat. Such creatures probably aren't healthy - like they could burst into a lot of gooey mess any moment after being poked. And this reveals three smaller versions of it, you may call them its larvae if you want.
Plus, this image looks completely like giant Worms from one of my favorite games - Final Fantasy X ;)

May sound a bit off-topic, but... Shouldn't the upgraded version art have a bit larger breasts? ;)

Anyways, this card looks like an interesting way of doubling an effect of buffs for the same quanta cost. Especially useful with spells like Butterfly Effect or high quanta consuming creature abilities zeroed using Shard of (?)Readiness.

Two more questions: what would happen if I, say, copy my Otty, and then devour some creature using the copy? Will the copy gain +1/+1, or 0/0 and just kill the devoured thing?
And how would mutating the original affect the copy? Like PU with current mutants - shadow becomes the same creature, but with a random A/D and a random skill, or shadow becomes an exact same mutant as the original?
