False Gods / If you were a false god...
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:04 pm »

My name whould be 'Annoyance'.

102 card deck

Mark is time
10xProtect artifact
10xDimensional shields
10xEternium Hourglasses
1xPhoton
1xEternity
60xQuantum towers

A little variation on this one:

Invincibility
Mark is aether
10xProtect artifact
1xDissipation field
20xElite immortal
60xQuantum towers
10xEternium Hourglasses
1xEagle eye

Strategy is obvious I guess, but just for the people that don't get it: wait for enough quantum to use protect artifact (takes probably max 3 turns if your not reaaaaaally unlucky), play dissipation field, protect it, play eagle eye, protect it and use the hourglasses to keep spawning more quantum towers (protect them as well) and the eagle eye to prevent the opponent from getting enough offense on the table. Elite immortals are to kill the opponent of once your def is up.
the key of this deck is playing a shield you have in 1 copy for a 102 card deck?! I hope you wanted to say 10xshields. With tower bug this will surely be unbeatable exept for decking out (supposing you create a situation where you can eat 10 creature per turn respawning them, with a bone wall...:S) and this will e extremely rare...
Yup, should have been 10 instead of 1  ;)

Decking out is indeed the major problem of the deck, so maybe this works better:

Invincibility
Mark is aether
10xProtect artifact
10xDissipation field
12xElite immortal
60xQuantum towers
10xEternium Hourglasses
3xEagle eye
3xEternity
4xAnimate weapon

However, this only works if the protect stays on a weapon when you animate it (anyone who tried this?), otherwise eagle eye/eternity are to vulnerable

False Gods / Loot rate

Very nice!!!
Any chance you could also do this for AI3 ?!
The decks are already here:

Do you want drop rates too?
Yes the drop rates would be great!

Just wondering:

is there any specific reason why no one talks about have a dissipation field in his/her deck?! I have one and specifically later in the game when some gods (like rainbow, seism and graviton) can still deal a lot of damage, I find it works incredibly well, even though it might cost you some quanta, but it often uses quanta which you don't need anyway

Any opinions on using it?!

False Gods / Quick Tip: Morte and Miracle
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:35 pm »

If you're going to try quantum denial on morte or miracle to stop them from pulling out miracles, make sure to have at least 1 trident in your deck. I've got 2 in my deck at the moment and it works great against those two. It also really helps winning against chaos lord by the way, because quantum denial is imho a great strategy against quantum decks (that's why scorpio and seism are so difficult to beat with a quantum deck)

Do people want this post locked? There's not really much to discuss, apart from "Thanks, great deck"
No, I think it is only normal to thank/congratulate someone on a deck if you decide to use it and it works. After that you can go and start commenting on the deck (like I did, but apparently you think that is not enough discussion)

@Scaredgirl: first of all congrats on making a very nice deck. I've tried it for a couple of days now (in a slightly altered version) and it is indeed a nice god killing deck. However, I must say that you definitely need at least a couple of upgraded cards to stand a chance against the gods that you indicate yourself as being moderate and at least 10+ against the difficult ones to come anywhere near the 66% winning percentage.

Just as extra comment on the deck, the alterations that I made:
- lobotomizer instead of eternity, most gods rely heavily on their creature skills so I feel lobo is better
- 2 fallen druids instead of 1, which I think really helps in doing a lot of damage in a short amount of time

Right now I'm experimenting with addition of an anubis and maybe 1 or 2 time pillars in order to immaterialize the weaker units and the ones that the deck heavily relies on (fallen druid, otyugh)

Another question for you guys: has anyone tried this deck without the FFQ but with some extra graveyards and otyughs?! I'm wondering whether that would make it quicker to set up, because that is still the weak point of the deck

Issue Archive / Visual bug
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:33 pm »

Hi,

When you get to the point that the top row of monsters fills up, it means that you can't see their attack/def stats and (more important) the skill that they have. For normal cards this isn't a big problem, because you scroll over it and you see the stats, but for mutated cards (which my entire deck is build on) it is pretty annoying. Is there any way to get around this? Or is this something that can be fixed in a new update?!
